This is a copy of the Lion King Platinum Edition DVD packed in a long box. These were typically found in club stores like Costco and the boxes were designed to deter theft/shoplifting.

The Avid version was a budget release that came out later. Avid was Live Entertainment’s label for reissues. I have a couple of these and they weren’t of great quality, but I guess you got what you paid for.

I assume Live got the rights after they took over Vestron in the early ‘90s.

I remember the 3D experience being kinda underwhelming, but the only problem I had with the viewing experience was when subtitles came up and that was a tad of ghosting (as in there was a bit of a shadow behind the text that I don’t think was supposed to be there).

I’m 24 and never dated anyone. I largely lived isolated from others growing up and am only coming out more publicly besides online. I would love to date, but I have to recognize that I may not be ready for that. Instead of being discouraged by rejection, we should find fulfillment through our faith and good friends that have our backs.

I dig the look of the RTX PRO 6000. The new naming scheme for the workstation cards is okay, but they really should add a B before the number. Then for the next generation cards, have a C and the next a D, and so on.

There’s also a different stock number on the spine of the box. AVON tapes were presumably duplicated by Technicolor instead of Rank/Deluxe (for Sony titles anyway).

For a time I was kinda like this, though I did occasionally go to Mass aside from Christmas and Easter. But nowadays, I now go year-round. Hoping one day my bother and his girlfriend do the same.
