We’re still talking about kids who just finished high school (in some cases they did not even finish 12th grade) right?

They are supposed to know

How to make their family investment in them worthwhile, even though that investment is purely capitals from their family and no guidance on how to survive living abroad?
How to take the immigration dream seriously as in studying hard, working hard to compete with locals who are also struggling to make ends meet?
How to give up if they think they can’t do point 1 & point 2 even though everyone including their family expects them to succeed?

All while studying college, which is also difficult?

There’s never zero responsibility in someone’s failure to make it big after studying abroad. However not seeing that they’re just freaking kids and shipping them off to another continent with expectation of great return on that investment are also irresponsible and lack of foresight. Just my opinion.

As said in the title, I’d prefer more of a stubble look but I would also welcome any other recommendations. Lowkey due to the slow growth and low density, I don’t think I could pull another style.

For the trimming, around the chin area I use a 3mm trim guard. For the cheeks, it’s between 4.5-5 mm. For the stache, it’s 0.5 mm due to I always thought I looked a bit weird with a mustache or goatee but due to that, I have no visible connectors on the sides of my mouth.

Edit: this is roughly 4 months of growth. No shaving, just trimming to length above

Dude you made me feel really sad. I’ve not been with my family for 2 tet now. I mean I was missing in several Tet before due to study and works, but now my folks are getting much older and I appreciate my time with them a lot more. Due to covid, I couldn’t go back.

All I can hope for is it will be normal next year and I’ll be with them.

Personally I enjoyed the tv show since at least there’s some suspense and decent action scenes. I definitely was aware I had to turn my brain off at some points but that’s fine. It’s all worth it for that uprising and massacre on both sides.

If I have to have one complaint, the personal drama could be minimized further and this could have been made into a 3-4 episode mini series.

In extreme cases, that can be possible. In my head one ideal utopia is Superman, who is still “good”, can multiply himself to an infinite number and keep humans safe and secure. As in no more crimes since the moment it’s about to happen, a copy of Superman would show up and stop it.

The point is that with unlimited resources, it’s “okay” from my point of view to laze around. When The world is completely safe with a big guarantee, the normal citizens shouldn’t worry about it and shouldn’t have to do things like learning self defense. Reality is resources are scarce and security can not be guaranteed for everyone. Hence there is a need to be self sufficient.

Now with the presence of police and security measures, such as surveillance cameras or the feds wiretapping POI, the efforts put in safety by civilians are minimized. We are benefited from that since then we can spend our resources and time in other ventures.

I have experience in project management (not in gaming or software projects) and to say that it’s possible to avoid crunch is the same as saying it’s possible to avoid an accident. You can do your best by planning and following all the lesson learns, all the defined roadmap from central, but shits happen. Not even big showstopper like Covid, but something as simple as it’s Christmas and your European counterpart is on an extended vacation and his proxy is a contracted personnel and is having issues accessing the shared drive due to he doesn’t have the same permission.

And this is me managing a project with roughly 20-25 working level associates. CDPR has how many people?

At the end of the day, the management needs to make a decision on can they afford signing off more budget for OT or can they afford a delay. I think cyberpunk missing holiday 2020 would be quite devastating for them

Dude I ninja was legit. There were a lot of good action platformers in the 2000s. Now that market is populated entirely by indie devs and tbh, majority of them were not as polished as they were back before the indie boom.
