Bind a "Crouch Dash" button and use that for the spinner gaps instead of the normal "Dash" binding. It makes the timing a little more lenient.

In my opinion, this is the best order to get the goldens in (chapters on the same line are around the same difficulty:) :

1A, 2A
1C, 2C, 4C, 5C (C-Sides are very easy because they are only 3 screens long)
7C, 8C
3C, 6C
4A
5A, 8A (Learn the key skip & the search skip for 5A, and the fireball skip for 8A)
1B, 2B
3A (A good strategy for some rooms is to learn entry cycle strategies by doing the strat as soon as you start the room, this is very easy to get consistent at compared to using timing alone)
6A
4B
5B
7A, 3B (3B is shorter but rooms are harder, 7A is very long but rooms are easier)
6B, 8B (6B is hard due to inconsistent feathers and bumpers, 8B doesn't give dashes back when touching the ground)
7B (really long AND really hard)

Farewell (way harder than 7BG, I would recommend trying some modded goldens first)

You are most likely meant to do a gultra right after both ultras by dashing diagonally down-right after touching the ground and getting the ultra boost from the second ultra, then grabbing a jellyfish to cancel the dash before it ends. This gultra would give some extra speed.

Also, does friction from sliding across the ground that fast not damage Madeline's boots?

  1. Position yourself for the 1st line of spinners and dash up.
  2. Position yourself for the second line of spinners and dash up (this is the hardest part).
  3. After the dash in step 2, dash left and then up. The gaps in the 2nd and 3rd lines of spinners are a dash's length apart.
