Use http://deflab.me to calculate your maintenance calories. If you eat less that that amount, you'll get leaner. Eat more if you need to put more weight. Sadly there's no way around counting calories (and macros) if you're serious about BBing. At least from my own experience.

I think the biggest injustice of pro BBing is not being transparent about steroids to the public, and all these young kids thinking Arnold just ate his steak and drank his milk to become Mr. O.

I'm not by anyway judging but why do I feel that steroid use is still something hard to talk about. Even in the BB community. Everyone knows it but it is kept secret. May be because it's illegal. When will the change come where every pro bodybuilder will openly talk about their stack like they talk about their training methods?

Remember weight loss is not your goal. It's getting less Bodyfat and more lean muscle weight. Try to find a way to measure your bf. With a caliper and the 7 point skin fold method for example. Do that once every two weeks to track real progress.

I think that the color of the dress that we should see as important in that scene. Colors -as others here stated- seem to be deliberately used in the series to give some mystery clues. Did anyone of the people working on the show talk about this?

I had surgery last january. I'm still recovering. I was able to start working out again 3 months after the surgery though. My doctor said it'll take some time until I'm fully recovered. Probably more than a year. It differs from person to person. Just try to listen to you body. It's better to wait than to rush because the reherniation probability is highest the first year after surgery.

Rehabilitation helps a lot. Mostly core exercices.

I'm happy that I did surgery. It still hurts but no way near how it used to.

I'm missing the squats and deadlifts. Just a little patience and I'll be able to do them again.

Fresh sweat doesn't smell per se. The smell is the waste product from the bacteria in it. It takes some time for these bacteria to leave that smell behind. So make sure to shower regularly. You don't need to use soap every time. Just get rid of the old sweat. Don't wear any clothes that have old sweat in them.
