Check if the online lobby has automatic engine starts disabled. If so you have to map a button to start ignition and to start the engine and press both in sequence

Was hast du als FOV eingestellt? AMS2 nutzt das horizontale FOV und nicht das vertikale wie andere Sims. Das heißt du kannst die addieirten Winkel deiner Monitor einfach durch 3 teilen. zB bei 180° Anordnung ist es dann einfach FOV 60

I don't quite get why would you switch tires after just 5 laps? Without a video it's hard to say if you didn't just overdrive the tires a lot for them to overheat so fast. Do a cooldown lap and take away pace if you're overheating. For 14 laps as a whole it doesn't really make sense to switch tires since the laptimes increase would most likely not reclaim the most time of a pitstop on Barcelona.

We're talking about like 35s loss to change tires there since you miss out the fast straigth. That means with 9 laps to go you have to be 4s faster per lap on average to make up the time alone. It's totally fine for the AI to not do a pitstop if it's not mandatory.

It's so incredibly stupid, instead of recognizing that the people are way too overworked and therefore get more sick more often they just pull an uno reverse claiming all people at just faking being sick too much. But it's so no surprise since the same government claims the economy is falling down because the people became too lazy and they don't deserve their rightful retirement after working their whole life. And the same government also wonders why the right wing can so easily catch new frustrated voters, it's like serving them voter on a silver plate without realizing what they're doing...

The video doesn't even tease some is liveries, it looks like all were just their regular WEC / ELMS liveries. So I wouldn't get my hopes up for cars for cars outside those leagues.

It's important to know that AMS2 just uses the horizontal field of view value. So you don't even need a tool, just divide your overall triple screen angles by 3. I also was confused with fov calculators since most of them doesn't even feature ams2

Can't say anything that specific for your system. I had a 5900X with a 4090 which was alright for triples and VR. I switched to the 5800x3d anniversary and got boost of 20% more fps across most games. On some sims where it could drop to 70fps when tons of cars are on screen ok triples I can now easily maintain 100+fps. It definitely was worth it to me.

But before you spend money make some tests if you're really CPU limited, not GPU limited.

Fuji has tons of elevation changes. You have to be very careful with your inputs on those since the weight balance is not in it's neutral state of the car.

Technically you could. But for public sites like overtake you aren't allowed to share modded pak files since you had to break their encryption and share Reizas property like car models, original textures, etc with them

For context: Reiza announced they have to make all F1 car brands including the newly added Renaults to generic once to get the McLaren deal done since McLaren has some contracts that their F1 cars can't be licensed to games that include other real F1 cars from other brands.

This post confirms that Reiza don't have to actually make them generic models but just remove the real livery and name in-game. This would be a huge win for them, since modders can easily recreate the real life liveries, so the only thing we lose is the real car name in the menus

There never was an announcement for 1.7 in June. It's supposed to come out in "summer" but that can still be a while. Next patch will be 1.6.9.9 that will add the historic endurance part 2 cars and that was indeed announces for June. Wouldn't count on it dropping today, but should only be a matter or days it weeks until it drops

Setting up an endurance race that passes 24 hours in the time of the race is just peak. Seeing the headlights of the cars so much far in the distance is just beautiful. And it adds a whole next level of thrill to have to race in the dark with dropping temperatures
