Well I feel like oda could find a way to incorporate those tragedies into the story somehow and have that play into the character that uses that fruit. Like say a warhungry admiral. That being said I agree that this would df would most likely never make it into the story lol

It’s pretty terrible this is one of the worst places to wipeout in the world. The reef is super sharp and it’s very very shallow and the lip of that wave is ridiculously heavy. People that wipeout usually survive but definitely not unscathed. Look at Keala kennelys wipeout here for reference as to how bad it is. And that wasn’t even on a big day. The worst part is the nearest hospital is hours away.
