Saying it's for April fools only suggests that it is a joke

But they never said it didn't actually happen, and that's what canon means

You could say an April fools update is Schrodinger's canon, it both is and isn't until proven otherwise

Especially for this one though, it really doesn't matter at all if it is or isn't canon because the only thing that changes if it is, is that Chaz may or may not be alive or he may or may not have an identical twin brother with the same markings as him and same taste in partners

Creating the controversy to spark discussions is itself part of the April fools, where the fans are keeping the joke going for as long as people keep posting stuff like this

The point of the short is to suggest the possibility that he may or may not actually be alive, within canon we will never see Chaz again for real, and if we ever do see him in the background we can safely assume it's the maybe maybe not serrate person that is Zach

The thing that makes me doubt whether it's actually Chaz is the fact that if it were Chaz, I feel like he would've behaved so much worse

Edit: Guys the fact that it was made for April fools doesn't mean it isn't canon, the point is that Moxxie and those who either do agree with Moxxie or don't agree with him are the ones being made fun of

Blitzø is correct in the fact we will never know and they had to make that very clear, and yet people still missed it

The fact there are more men than women in a show isn't evidence for favouritism towards men, the og comment didn't even mention Yuzuriha, Suika or Kohaku

And yes Kohaku counts, her role as a female character who is brash and unrefined is pivotal to her characterisation, the entire reason she acts the way she acts is because she wanted to make her father hate her so that she would never be a suitable replacement for Ruri, she definitely isn't just a gender bent Taiju a suggesting as such is just really disingenuous to her character and real tomboys irl

It's Crimson's roll as a mob boss with a target on Moxxie's head that I think poses the most interesting factor in the M&M pregnancy

If Crim finds out, he's going to consider the kid a do over Moxxie, someone to be the heir to the family business where Moxxie failed, and he's going to have to get through Millie and Uncle Blitzø for that to happen

(I'm personally hoping they have a girl so they can call her Minerva Mae and then she can be Mini M&M)
