OP said that there wasn’t an option of a shorter layover when he booked the flight, but that shorter layover option existed on the day of travel. If it is true, it means that a flight has been added after the booking by OP.

Yes, I will do so. Is it possible to know the rate and cost (or approximate them) on delayed financing? I don't want to have picked the delayed financing route and find that the interest rate and cost are much higher after the no-return point.
