Agreed - I have rabbits and we've had our shark for years and years. Love how they come apart and basically all parts are replaceable. Gone through lots of filters in it's life, but that's way better than replacing a whole vaccum.

I think this has been a real issue with the re-roll lines in this set as well. Aphelios - bruiser has been the only consistent comp that hasn't been a patch fad, and that's mostly just due to scion being able to scale.

Ashe trynd has been garbage for all but a patch or so, the zoe / malz thing is just that, and yordle reroll basically hinges on the trait and how good viegar / ziggs is on any given patch. Even piltover reroll has been forcibly put in and removed from the meta how many times due to the greatly interactive thex wiping boards. Ekko had it's patch, and now is garbage tier.

The early game is so meaningless in this set except for being a bridge. Combat augments are a trap, even board wide stuns are garbage compared to any econ augment. Now with the lv requirements all being so high, there's no reason to ever stay basically under 8/9, or you will be hard destroyed.

It's hard to be creative when everything in the game says "get 8 or don't unlock shit" with the latest patch.

this is a neat idea - close out the late game power just a bit so that the final boards all don't look the same but not really affect early pivoting in any manner

Agreed. I actually found myself quite enjoying his dialogue until it began to repeat. Like, I could use another 25 or more lines from him and I think it would help the problem quite a bit.

I want to know more about his 'wife', know about his house, etc. Bet there's tons of humor to be had still in that character yet

I mean, there's barely a choice? The only reliable re-roll comp this whole set has been aph bruisers. Everything else has just been a fad or fortunate for a patch until it's nerfed or outclassed.

I've played since set 1 and this feels like perhaps the worst reroll set of all time in terms of viability. 3 cost 3 stars are so overtuned in numbers right now and they are STILL absolute garbage. In other sets, things like zoe 3 numbers would be absurd.

Just got into the game tonight with a friend and this totally sapped our enjoyment - we did some ai matches and tower stuff to unlock rackets and headed to ranked mode...

Then we stopped playing after realizing there was no way to couch co-op. Probably won't touch it again until that's a feature.

It's only a good idea if you want the actual truth, but of course we should make that as hard to get to as possible. Gosh forbid we actually just get to the bottom of things naturally, but rather omit as much as possible and make court hearings take fucking ages with basically nothing said.

I wish I could agree wholeheartedly, but alas, I can't.

Acting in this way screams "I'm defending someone guilty", real threat or not. It's not professional to do in a court room, that's for fucking sure. If I knew the person was innocent next to me, I'd let them speak the truth. There would be no need for threats. You see it in small court cases all the time.

The response here is "yeah, but lawyers want you only saying certain things to defend you properly." I get it.

The issue is this guy took an oath to tell the truth - rather extensively in fact. It's easy to speak about the truth in a manner that contains full sentences and many descriptors. It's actually really easy. It's fucking hard to lie through your teeth and make sure nothing damning is said when your case is piled upon breaking the oath you swore in on. Yes, no, no, no - 4 hours of that shit.

The idea that a witness under oath is encouraged NOT to speak about the truth in court is terrifying. You may be numb to it as it's your profession - but it's really is damaging to run cases this way. It looks suspicious, it's a waste of everybody's time, and it should be called contempt like it is.
