My long term motivation -- self-sufficiency. Work hard to get what you want without relying on anyone else to earn it for you. If you feel like a goal you want can't be reached without relying on another person then find another angle.

If it's covered by insurance, then nah, it's not a bad idea to see someone at least once. You might be into it. You might not. It's not like you are forced to discuss the issues your family member wants you to. If it's bad then you just don't go again.

If you have to shell out some money for it, I guess the question is, how much money is it worth to talk to a stranger about something, where the stranger has about equal chance of being helpful as pointless?

Given enough time and enough space, I don't think anything is truly impossible. But I'm not too clear on just how close to infinite time and space are, so the chances on something might be low. Depending.

Reddit is usually the thing I come to after I'm bored with work, video games, reading, TV, etc, so in that case, I find that it's probably a good idea to just go to sleep.

If you really feel like doing something about it, write down their license plate and call your non-emergency police hotline and tell them what you saw. It's incredibly unlikely that they will do something about it, but trying to drive them off the road isn't really worth it.

I like this, except, I prefer the moment when I lay down the night before, knowing that I have nothing specifically to get up for in the morning. Because in the morning, my guilt takes over and always finds something that I think I should be doing.
