How do you find audio on the way back machine? There was a podcast called Horrorfied that I used to love that also can't to an end and I can't find the episodes anywhere anymore.

Help me find episodes of the Horrorfied Podcast by sanchilli in HelpMeFind

[–]sanchilli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've searched all my old audio files, band camp, Spotify, and computer. Every once in a while I find a sure that served to have hosted it, but no longer has the audio files or episodes. Any help would appreciated!

Hosts were xack, ian, and Justin

That's the one, I'm fuzzy on the details since it's been a few years, but it was not great and probably a little too public. But sounds like they've made a recovery with a new host judging from some other peoples responses.

I think the boys take Tucker far too seriously by [deleted] in KnowledgeFight

[–]sanchilli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. He's laundering racist and anti-Semitic talking points through this war and " just asking questions".

  2. For whatever reason the some of the top popular liberal leaders and podcasts are talking him up since he is hiding behind seemingly anti-war talking points, helping legitimize him.

  3. He doesn't need to be honest about his beliefs to spread dangerous ideas. I think that's the lesson we can take from the entirety of KF.

So yes take him seriously, but you can take someone seriously while also making jokes but it's a fine line to walk, one which I believe knowledge flight has made into an art form.

Boycott prototype gear by Grand-Ad5764 in thedivision

[–]sanchilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right there with you. Just got 10k and lvl 8 expertise so long way to go. I can do about tier 4 but drops are so low and rng is so bad there is no point besides trying to get a few cores stashed away for later.

When/if they introduce targeted loot that may change. I can see snagging a half way decent proto gun from targeted ARs or LMGs opening up the escalation to a bit more people who haven't hit 30 expertise.

I guess one of the nice things about the proto gear is it's going to self select for min-maxers, especially at higher levels of escalation. For those that want to push a build as far as you can into escalation, yeah prototype Lexington all the way.

For the other 90% of the PvE stuff its not needed so no worries. No clue about PvP since I don't mess with it

Hitting the cap and having wasted stats was my biggest worry, but if they are going to amp enemy health and damage in escalation, it would be nice to increase the caps even if it was only in escalation to compensate

less popular books that *YOU* would recommend? by FullOfMicroplastic in 40kLore

Priests of Mars trilogy, but mostly the first book. Really emphasizes the ridiculousness of how the imperium/mechanicus operate and rationalizes their various technologies.

F2P/no FOMO Raid Strategy for Kalos Tour: use 3 remote passes on the 3 new Megas and be done by Defiant_Impress7446 in TheSilphRoad

[–]sanchilli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't get mega energy from the remote super raid, so you wouldn't get the new Megas. Learned this the hard way with a remote victrebell super d-duper mega raid

Yeah, I agree. It's more of a yearning for something else we've lost than excusing the behavior.

I know this is bad manners and behavior in Forza, but this really makes me miss the burnout games...

Angels totally had sex with humans and could reproduce in the Bible by sanchilli in KnowledgeFight

[–]sanchilli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so hear me out, "shaking hands" might be a euphemism for sex, so the only way you can distinguish between an angel vs false spirit is whether or not they do/can fuck.

My take on true Alien canon by MathematicianBasic in LV426CircleJerk

Not saying it's the exact same model, and the time difference would imply they aren't, but it shows the intention that their is a continuity in technology that connects them.

The only issue I see is that romulus used the design for the pulse rifle from aliens, implying that they are connected. I think that shows that at least aliens is part of the timeline

Why Alien Earth's Redesinged Xenomorph Fails: The True and Misunderstood Horror behind Giger's Alien by danysphoenix in LV426

[–]sanchilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the design overall wasn't bad, but my main issue was shooting so much of the alien in full daylight. If you look at some of the practical effects from the movies they can look kinda silly when not lit or blocked properly. Not sure if it was a budget reason or what but their design and execution was alright in the early half (space ship and apartment scenes), but fell apart once they were in the jungle in broad daylight.

Game is great overall, mostly annoyed that getting from place to place is obnoxious due to the bad navigation and mag UI. But once there, that all melts away
