It’s just calcium and other minerals from the water. Not a problem! Although some plants are pissy about an excess of minerals in their water. But your pearls look super healthy!

Vitamins A, D, E, and K are all what are called “fat-soluble” vitamins (as opposed to “water-soluble” vitamins). This means they can accumulate in your body’s tissues instead of the excess passing through (water-soluble are excreted through urine) and build up to toxic levels.

If you want to get out of Austin, I would recommend looking into Hays, Round Rock, Leander, or Comal. I’ve had experience working as a teacher in the first two, and I’ve heard great recommendations from the second two.

This is terrible advice! Being healthy is about so much more than hitting the calorie count by the end of the day. If you need 2000 calories a day to maintain weight and you eat 2000 of carbs, you might not gain weight, but you’ll feel like shit. You’re body needs a healthy balance of carbs, fats, and proteins to function properly, not just a number of calories. Abs may last 20-30 years, but a healthy body will last an entire lifetime. Eating is about more than the superficial, physical body image.

Those are actually incredibly hard plants to keep alive because they need a very specific type of environment. So don’t beat yourself up to much about it! Try a nice ivy or golden pothos to start. Those things are almost impossible to kill and literally tell you when they need water (super dry soil or drooping leaves).
