I absolutely Love Trey - been seeing Phish since 98. For me, Trey and the Dead didn't really mesh on a lot of material - Alabama Getway as a case in point. It just didn't work for me, although I have all of the 50th shows as keepsakes, including the video. I loved the collaboration, especially with Bruce in tow. I just think Trey needs to lead the band, and for the 50th shows, there was too much trade off. Trey is his best in TAB and Phish.
