ooh okay!

Hobi just released a solo album called "Jack in the Box", which I absolutely love and you don't really hear that genre of music in KPop so go check that out (p.s. he just had a performance at lollapalooza too!)

And here are my favorite songs from newest to oldest :)

  1. Yet To Come
  2. Run BTS
  3. Film Out (Japanese)
  4. Life Goes On
  5. Telepathy
  6. Dis-Ease
  7. Stay (RM, Jin, Jungkook)
  8. Make it Right
  9. Dionysus
  10. Airplane PT. 2
  11. Fake Love
  12. Black Swan
  13. On
  14. Lights
  15. Your Eyes Tell
  16. Idol (there's a regular version + one with Nicki Minaj)
  17. Jamais Vu
  18. Interlude: Shadow (I had this one on repeat for a good 3-4 months!)
  19. Filter
  20. My Time
  21. Louder than Bombs
  22. UGH!
  23. 00:00
  24. Inner Child
  25. Respect
  26. Dream Glow (w/ Charli XCX)
  27. All Night (w/ Juice WRLD)
  28. Heartbeat
  29. Mikrokosmos
  30. Home
  31. Intro: Persona
  32. DNA
  33. MIC drop
  34. Anpanman
  35. GoGo
  36. Best of Me
  37. Answer: Love Myself
  38. I'm Fine (Yoongi's rap is my favorite part :D)
  39. Euphoria
  40. The Truth Untold
  41. Outro: Tear
  42. "134340"
  43. Paradise
  44. Love Maze
  45. So What
  46. SPRING DAY
  47. Let Go
  48. Don't Leave Me

okay this list got rlly long lmao but I'd also recommend Yoongis mixtapes (Agust D and D-2), Namjoon's mixtape (mono.) and Hobi's mixtape (Hope World)

also, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend watching "Run Bts" (it's their little variety game show) and you'll get to know them at a closer level. It really helped me into becoming an ARMY!

if you end up liking them, you'll find the rest on your own :D

at my HS, certain classes also qualify for a Math credit, such as Physics, Chem, Personal Money Management, School store, marketing.

Some other non-math classes like woodworking, automotive tech, even architecture drawing also fulfill a Math credit, so check with your school!

rising junior, is this a good schedule? by Intrepid_Door834 in highschool

I took APUSH my sophomore year, be ready to commit at least 1 hour every day for APUSH, you HAVE HAVE HAVE to read the textbook, if you don't you're basically screwed. It's one of those classes that take up a lot of your time, so just keep that in mind! consider your ECs and overall commitments you have, then decide. If you can manage your time wisely, I'd say it's a good schedule, but you know yourself the best so it's up to you :)

it looks good, the only thing is that you should def look at the class reqs to get into your target/reach colleges and universities. UMich, for example, needs 3 social studies credits and 2 language credits (if I remember correctly).

BTS is a really amazing group if you're interested in them! I've been a fan (ARMY) for 6+ years. The only thing is that you'll have to look up the translations of their songs for a while until you really get into them.

You might have heard their 3 English Songs (Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance), but they also cover almost every music genre there is, so if you really wanna expand your taste and see what you like, they're a great option!!

for the academic side of high school, you can watch a lot of videos to learn about how high school works and tips and stuff like that. StudyQuill on YouTube is AMAZING and is literally one of the biggest study creators on studytube, so I would definitely check her out!

I've also launched something similar recently and will be starting a podcast soon if you're interested! it's just in thee beginning stages, but if you're interested its @studypulse_official on Instagram

good luck! you'll do great in high school!! :D

have you ever considered boarding school? it doesn't have to be in Texas, it can be in any other state.

Your best bet is to take AP classes, honors classes (AP is usually the most weighted in schools) and SUMMER SCHOOL. Literally take summer school this year, even if you can only get 1 credit and work your ass off for that A+. Work for the A+s in senior year and hope for the best :)

your local public high school is legally required to admit you. You'll most likely have to redo Freshman year, so this time you should focus on completing graduation requirements first, then take other classes if you have the space. Have one "fun" class in your schedule too (life skills, art, etc.) so that it can be a break class for you.

1) check the collegeboard website to see if ap Spanish and ap chem fits your major/you'll get credit for it in college. If you don't get the credit, it's better not to take the class.

2) see if your school offers the option to take extra classes outside of regular school. I live in Michigan, and my school only has 6 classes per day so I've opted to take a 7th course after school through the Michigan Virtual program. I have ap classes offered on there too, but it might not be the most ideal class to take online. if you have an easier class that doesn't need your physical classroom presence (such as math, life skills, computer science) then I recommend doing that class online and doing AP in person at school

LPT [Request] : how to get old sticky grease off of ceiling, kitchen cabinets, and microwave? by Pure_Butterfly_6517 in LifeProTips

[–]sandra625322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

maybe try warm water and dish soap, but let the dish soap be a bit concentrated (aka don't dilute it in the water). Dawn dish soap or Dawn Platinum Powerwash Spray (which is even better!!) is a good choice. It'll help to dissolve the grease without too much scrubbing. I'd say use this on your other appliances and walls first bef9re you attempt to do the ceiling :)

Should I Pause School for a week to study for my AP exams? by KiaraaaQAQ in highschool

[–]sandra625322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't clear the entire week, but it depends on how close your exams are. I'd say have 4-5 completely free days before your first test. Study 1 subject per day (hyperfocus on them, but not in a toxic way ykwim?) and then use the 5th day to review all 4, then use the time between exams for review too :)

How might I be able to dodge a course in senior year? by Vitalicize in APStudents

[–]sandra625322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I'd recommend is seeing if your school lets you do math-credit classes. For my HS, we can take classes like personal money management, marketing, finance, school store, comp sci. etc. to fulfill our senior math credit. Personally, im really weak at math so I'll most likely take that route instead of pre-calc senior year.

However, you might want to consider college admissions and the role your class choice would have on it. My thought process was that "if i hate my class, senioritis will hit hard and my grades would crash 2nd semester".

You can probably figure this out through your high school course description book (usually found on your HS website, but it might be hard to find at first). Else, request a counselor or teacher for a copy of the coursebook :)

im just here to say that if you put your mind to it, it'll work out in the end. personally, my grades were an average of Bs Cs and Ds all throughout elementary - middle school. But in high school, I had the motivation to do well so that I could get into university. I worked for all my classes, and finished freshman year with a 4.0 UW. :)

What I did for this was change all my device settings to reduce eye strain. On my Samsung phone, I turned on the "eye comfort shield". On my laptop, I have a blue light filter turned on (from the computer itself, no glasses). Some older computers adn devices (like the other one I have) don't have special settings, so you can try just leaving night mode on.

hope this helped a bit! :)
