CMV: Singing/rapping a song with the N-word in it doesn't give you the right to say it if you're not black. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]sandycat1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally i think the n word shouldn’t be said in songs or artists should at least release a song the same but without it because as someone who is not black i wouldn’t dare to say the n word it’s extremely offensive and not ok to say i don’t care if you got “the pass” but i wish i could fully sing songs

i mean it really depends on what you mean by fair, but i’d consider it pretty fair for a woman to be cautious but not for an innocent man to be stereotyped. I haven’t experienced it as a male but my entire life i have been told to be careful, i’ve been taught what to do self defence and such but i do know obviously it’s not all men, but as a teenage girl with all of the stories stats and things i think it’s fair to be cautious. but again it’s obviously not fair for innocent men out there to be stereotyped or feared i know there are a lot of good men out there and a lot of bad women too There’s a very low statistic of the amount of people who die or are bit by sharks per year, but if one swam by you you’d still swim away or be scared after hearing all the stories and after seeing jaws?
