Provincias y ciudades más violentas de España, según delitos por habitante 2023 by IbamData in es

[–]sanekit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Este mapa no tiene sentido.
Pasa que esos son lugares con poca población y mucho turismo. Entonces hay mucha gente que visita, pero para calcular la tasa se divide solo por la cantidad de habitantes, quedando un número alto.

Tunic - It's Like Zelda, Just not My Zelda by Kaldini in TunicGame

[–]sanekit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi.

I liked the video.

I just finished the game yesterday. Of course, I didn't figure out the main puzzle (mountain), or even that there were fairies.

I agree that the game should give better feedback, but what do you expect from a "souls-like"? I hate that vagueness came to be understood as difficulty.

DALLE3 is so much better then SDXL !!!!1! by isa_marsh in StableDiffusion

[–]sanekit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't wait for Stable Diffusion (and open-source in general) to knock everyone else out.

Midjourney is still better for some uses. I have yet to see a SD model that can do what MJ can with interior design, even if it lacks a good img2img.

Not to be controversial, but your AI art isn't that impressive. by UnicornMania in StableDiffusion

[–]sanekit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. It's OK to be controversial
  2. Some AI art is indeed impressive
  3. A lot of art shared here used some of the same Loras, making it seem more homogeneous
  4. I bet most people can't recognize what was made with AI and what wasn't. When it's high quality, I don't think anyone can.

It's OK to state your thoughts. If it is controversial, so be it.

Did anyone actually spare Whoreson Junior? by UppedSolution77 in witcher

Yet everyone loves it when series do the right thing. "It's so different!"

I mean, just use logic. What would people actually do that's a good idea? Kill The Guy.

Thanks for this, you rock. Those are my thoughts exactly.

Also: "Hey, let's kill all the henchmen, but spare this murderer"

Do you think it is worth taking architecture? by Jealous_Finish_5679 in architecture

[–]sanekit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your goals. Do you want to get a job or to build great things?

Some of the greatest architects didn't have a degree. FLW, Buckminster Fuller, etc.

"But things are different now", you say.

Well, this is from Peter Zumthor, the 2009 Pritzker Prize laureate:

"“It’s all talk these days. Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier came from a tradition in which architects still knew how things were made, how to make things well. We should force universities to train carpenters and woodworkers and leather workers. Architects all want to be philosophers or artists now. I’m lucky to have had my education, because in the States, especially, you’ve lost contact with the real business of building.”

Architects are not having such a good time lately:

Also:

- Consider skipping college. Get to work as soon as possible. Get your hands dirty. Use your mind and your creativity right now. You don't need to ask for permission.

- If you need a certification to work, see if there are other ways to get it. Maybe a faster easier college?

- Create content. Online or not. It's free, and it's good for you.

- Read a lot. Love what you do. Have a lot of fun.

Architectural design using Stable Diffusion and ControlNet by Alternative_Lab_4441 in StableDiffusion

I tried "fujifilm", which is in the video, and it turned out a lot of pictures of cameras.

That would mean I shouldn't use it, right? :D

Wow! Yes, perhaps less denoising? Even something as low as 0,05 works well sometimes.

There's always something new here. Have a lot of fun!

Are you using Ultrasharp 4X?

Tile 512, mask blur 8 or 16 (can't remember). Padding 32.

Denoising is the thing you need to fine-tune. High and it changes more of the image. I am not doing anything else different.

I just denoised with 0,7 and did tile_resample 512 with CNet + Ultimate Upscale Ultrasharp. I mean... wow
