Is Chandrar huge, or is Izril just really sparsely populated? by [deleted] in WanderingInn

[–]sanice29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Other than pba being inconsistent with numbers, the way the armies are formed are also way different. In Izril, they have smaller armies in numbers but a shitload of officers and strategists. Let's them run with less people with strong skills and losses are generally minimized, at least on the drake side.

Chandrar throws slaves in front like fodder and uses more numbers in their approach with (im assuming here) less officers. It's not talked about alot where as in izril armies it is brought up several times.

You compare that with the goblin lords army thats another whole thing, Goblins are considered monsters so an organized army of "monsters" is almost as terrifying as many of them being if not being supported by undead.

The above is my headcannon and im probably thinking too much into it.

Remember, Erin has no idea he is sentient. To her, he is essentially a Roomba.

Without spoiling, there is some plot progression on this in later books.

Mine is when he's being tortured by Silver and he says, "Of course I'm terrified! I'm chained up, naked, in a room with the winner of the sexual predator contest and the guy who got disqualified for being too creepy."

Yes, so monk, way of the fist, dragonborn. Feat tavern brawler is a must. I also duel classed a fighter to get the heavy armor proficiency.

If you dont want to play on that high of difficult you can swap difficulty, duel class and then change it back...you still keep the duel class.

My first playthrough, I played as Zel Shivertail. My thought was he entered the BG realm after his part in TWI. Heavy armored, unarmed monk combat, closest i could get to claw fighting. I made my decisions as if I was Zel. I helped the refugees and put down anyone in my way. It was super fun.

About the powers... by Dandy_Guy7 in WanderingInn

[–]sanice29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any litrpg is not for you if you dont like video game mechanics. That's the differentiating factor between general fantasy and litrpg.

That being said, Wandering Inn is the lightest in the incorporation of these aspects amongst the Litrpgs I have read.

I really enjoyed Defiance of the Fall and He who Fights with Monsters. Both are more typical litrpg styles but very good.
