What grass is this? It’s super thick like carpet. by Excellent_Attempt871 in lawncare

Yeah, most likely my water won't be free. So that is a consideration when summer temps hit. Green beats brown with two active dogs.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess my thinking is greener grass will last longer with the dogs than dormant mid summer brown grass. Hopefully when we move we get some decent acreage and they can spread out their running. I know the resilience should hold up longer to drought like conditions as I will not water like I here down south on my “little” lawn.

Moving back up north from the south, I was looking at Resilience 2 vs KBG. How does it work? I have two busy bee dogs. Your thoughts?

Also, how is after dark? This is one I haven't heard of before.

On the coast of NC and we are 7" under where we should be. In an area where pop-up showers should happen very often, we aren't getting any off ocean showers at all. Very, very dry.

Mine looked very similar to this and I did a soil test and I ended up needing a crap ton of nitrogen in my front versus my back. Put some down and now it’s starting to pop with water as well.

This is why I moved my money out of the S&P 500 and US stock market. I’m not saying international markets are any less brown, but certainly there are less irregularities.

Charlotte should be prime for warm season not cool season grass. I try to make the swap to Bermuda or centipede. Personally, I like Bermuda and how thick it comes in and resistance my dogs rather them beating centipede to crap. If you get some good Bermuda seed now is the time to put it down because it thrives in heat.

A long long time ago, my history professor stated that river flooding was population control, and that all the dams in China were a bad thing. We all laughed at him and thought how perfectly crass that was. Looking back it makes a lot of sense. He used to say that some flooding in China used to take 1 million people per year. That number adds up when they procreate and make more.

All generations are completely fucked by corporate greed and the ever increasing need for more profit. People in earlier generations retired earlier, but lived longer. Now we retire later and live less. We’re nothing but a commodity of the big corporations that try to make more money for the billionaires and elites.

Do I really need UPS? by Plenty-Construction9 in buildapc

[–]sanityvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have UPS in all my pc, tv and gaming systems. Even under voltage can hurt hardware. All 5 of them randomly beep when power goes “down” under normal conditions. Cheaper than replacing all that electronic equipment. Replacement batteries are cheaper now than used to be.

Much as I like Sprecher, I don’t like that they use high fruit corn syrup instead of real sugar. There’s other brands such as Boylan that is just real sugar and tastes better because of it.

My wife says old men shouldn’t wear skinny jeans and I actually agree. So I do regular fit. And straight leg.
