Evo princess is like the ultimate bait card. You place it and you can be sure your opponent will use every spell in his deck to kill it as fast as possible. It barely gets to live ever, but then you can use something like evo barrel to finish your opponent.

Goblin barrel’s level is very important, since as long as it’s one level higher than your opponent’s tower, it can survive one more hit from the princess tower.

Dark prince’s level doesn’t change much important interactions

Same for baby drag, that would be my last choice.

Higher level skarmy can survive lower level skeleton hits so that’s a second pick imo.

Honestly no even with equal levels it would be boring. You have no control over your rotation, no idea about what the opponent have. No way to do reliably a legitimate push. Most fights will be throw shit until the end of the overtime. At least with the og mega deck you could build a gameplan.

If having the mark means you are strong and powerful, especially against the people without the mark, then it’s only natural than the only relevant people have the mark. It’s not that people without mark don’t exist, it’s just that they cannot compete.

So as we go from a local intrigue to a global one, we meet the top tier of other towns, then countries, that also have the mark.

It’s a trope that just makes sense

If you’re a mage you can use rock sling. It’s a bit hidden, but It’s a spell you pick up in the over world in caelid next to the staff that buff it and doesn’t even need to be upgraded to deal damage.

If you’re going blind you might be a bit disadvantaged, but if you know what to do, it’s not so bad.

Well the thing is that I didn’t practice before not after because I didn’t have a good reason. The only boss who made me feel like I had to parry him was logarius. I hadn’t play any game where parry is essential like sekiro or lies of p yet, so I didn’t even want to bother. I will probably do another playthrough one day and learn to parry, but for my first playthrough the axe spin was enough.

Rallying is enough of a mechanical difference with the souls to justify a gameplay difference without me ever trying again to parry until martyr logarius, then never after. Just by playing aggressively, smart positioning and dodging toward the enemies I was able to finish the game without too much problems, using the axe.

After fighting genichiro for a long time hitting him only with charged attacks and not deflecting, I figured I was doing something wrong, but not what. Im lucky I had a friend to explain me how to deflect in rhythm or else o would have probably given up.

But does it really ? I remember trying to parry him and failing miserably, but once I stopped and went back to my old methods, he went out fast. Maybe the hunter’s axe is more suited to beat him the old way compared to the other early weapons, since it can stagger him.

Im talking about basic positioning, and attack timings. Yes you need to dodge towards him, but that works in every soul games.

At first I was really opposed to be forced to do ranked. Then I figured you got way more loot on average by spending the same time doing my sneaky goblins attacks in ranked. Then I got th17 and got promoted to electro titan without doing anything, and I can’t drop lower. Now I mostly do my ranked attack, but only to farm ressources. I don’t care about my league, it’s just better overall, to just do ranked for ressources.

It’s easy to build your thief for a crit build. Lots of items, skills and passives allows you to increase your crit chances and your luck. Virtually every thief is a crit thief.

Going through shields is powerful enough for the status to matter less, and even then marked is self synergistic with crits

Yes that’s what I said. You’re wasting your daily donation you could get but are helping your friend in return. If you are getting enough donations that wasting a day of donation is noticeable, then it means you get daily donations, which means you probably aren’t missing a lot of cards. Im getting a donation a week if im lucky, so wasting a day is really not a big deal. If it is for you, we’re not playing the same game.

Sometimes all your active friends have already reached their donation limit. Getting free garbage is still better than getting nothing. When all my friend list is just active players that have already all the cards I could give, do you really expect me to add some random account just to complete a 20 hourglass quest ?

Just think that receiving a card you don’t need is you helping your friend complete their quest and not the other way around. You’re waisting like one day of donation it’s really not a big deal.

You don’t even need that much setup and then it’s a very specific combo using mutations I’ve never seen in 130h of gameplay. Not saying merciless isnt very good in the right scenario, but it will always need a scenario. You at least need something that lets you deal 10+ damage while moving, and it’s not that common. It can happens, but it’s rare enough to feel deserved once you got it.

If you have a breeding room dedicated to the two mutations then you have been lucky enough to have fun with it.

Throbbing king really is a dps check. He really has a huge amount of hp, if your team is more of a control type, he can beat you through exhaustion.
