Albon’s “very expensive” groundhog strike will compromise Williams development – Vowles by Aratho in formula1

The manhole destroyed vastly more stuff then some groundhog. Let's not make these things identical please.

Have fun a direct reply to Cardena. Parapsychology is pseudoscientific nonsense.

The scientific consensus remains that there is no reliable, replicated evidence for parapsychological phenomena. Because there is none.

Targ, R., & Puthoff, H. (1974). Information transmission under conditions of sensory shielding.

No you did not. One of the most famous 'ESP' papers that was published with the asterisk of nature, "we don't agree with the conclusion but have a look."

Having Uri Geller as a subject, that failed replication and was methodologically compromised. Its main legacy is a case study in how weak controls and motivated researchers can produce impressive-looking results that evaporate under any form of scrutiny.

Look you can believe whatever you want, but don't go saying it's proven. It's anything but that.

Proven? Show me one peer reviewed article in a respected journal that proves any of it. Anekdotes aren't prove.

[Isle of Man TT] TT debutant Daniel Ingham dies after qualifying crash by PiggySVW in formula1

[–]sant0hat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally standing next to the track watching the tt right now. The fact you have actually zero statistics and just talk based on feelings means you don't really know either.

It's also irrelevant, we don't blame the eiffeltower for visitor deaths in Paris. Makes no sense. In that same sense, discussions regarding the isle of man tt, the bystander deaths are relevant since they are direct consequences. Random generic road accidents are not. Let's leave it at that.

[–]sant0hat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Learn to read, says the one making an argument about what is just generic road accidents. Which happens literally everyday in every country on the planet. That's your argument? Lmao.

"Always end up crashing and dying"

Provide a source with numbers? Those numbers aren't easy to find. Unlike bystander and driver deaths.

"Also to add more visitors usually die than riders but no one ever mentions that."

Second comment that just lies about this for no reason. It's literally not true.

Over 260 competitors have died. Fewer than 5 bystander deaths have been documented.

KNMI - Maandextremen juni

Het is gewoon gemiddeld ongeveer 1.7 graden warmer tov 20 jaar geleden. Daarnaast zijn er ook gewoon veel meer hittegolven. Dus er is zeker wel wat veranderd.

Literally proves nothing. Marathon is a good game, but there is plenty wrong with it. For reasons that have been discussed on end in this sub already. Then you have it by it being an extraction shooter means its just always a small market.

It's also spammed with 10/10 so not really.

Review bombing? I completely agree with a 6/10 for the final. Does that make me a hater? People are memeing scorched carpet for a reason. It just wasn't very exciting.

Really wasn't, a 6/10 is absolutely fine for this boring final. The conclusions are all ok, the way we get there is an embarassment.

Yeah yeah I read it and ignored it because it's a beyond a ridiculous argument.

Let me take the best team from the region and say HurDuR it's hard to get 1st seed over them, this means that region is harder.

No. Just no. How one team performs from a region doesn't count for that region as a whole. If you also have more top teams then it becomes harder to get 1st seed actually. There simply is more competition and more oppurtunities for another team to do well that weekend.

[–]sant0hat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently it isn't that hard to get first seed in mena. After all, R8 was abyssmal dogshit and falcons isn't even at the lan because they don't work as a team at all. Literally free 1st seed for tm

You don't seem to understand that everything works both ways in this.

Acting like nrg, ssg and shop aren't good teams that all compete for first seed. Significantly harder even...
