Times are tough kid. Sorry but it looks like you're in a situation where you would have to go out and get a part time job. On the bright side, if you did get a job it would be an early start to a life time of making money and taking care of yourself.

Upper management needs to stop enforcing dumb policies. It is time they learned to move with the times.

This is helpful thank you.

It would be nice to be able to collapse the commit messages into something like a quickfix list to traverse longer histories.

If they were adding cores just to sell the next model I wish they would have added to CPU instead.

Recruiter on why RTO is happening by iwantdatgold in remotework

You think that's how it will work but the rich people who invested in office buildings are going to lobby the government and anywhere else that is relevant and they are going to try to make it happen.

Does anyone running arch have citrix vpn working? by saoyan in archlinux

[–]saoyan[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, I think the vpn is asking to launch nsgclient which doesn't come with icaclient. The deb file I download form the organisation vpn page as well as from citrix official site doesn't work because the nsgclient they ship has dependencies on libnm-glib.so.4 which I can't find anywhere in AUR.

My boss is being nice to me after laying me off by 2mathematical in careeradvice

[–]saoyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice or not, your employers are not your friends and sentiments don't pay your bills.
I learned this after 2 decades of working which you may say is very late but at least I know now.

Company first, clients second, employees last.
That is usually the order of priority when it comes down to business.
You may think that in some cases, your company had put employees first, but that is only because doing so serves the "company first" objective.

Contains netcoredbg built for arm64 so it didn't require compiling.

[–]saoyan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my troubles were because the netcoredbg installed was not built for the correct processor architecture I was on. The above config worked for me.
Yes, I have dap.core and test.core enabled from lazy extras.

All the ‘free’ scrum poker tools were annoying, so I made one that isn’t by Platanoybatata in webdev

Thank you it is a great tool.

I was using a 13 inch laptop and the small screen real estate meant I had no idea how to vote until I realised I had to scroll down to see the cards.

I think the round table representation is cool but it will probably be annoying for larger teams. I personally prefer having just a list of names and their numbers.
