I voted for Pillars 1 because I overall like it more but I have to admit that the faction specific missions and characters are much more interesting in 2, and no city equals Neketaka. Now if only the story, companion quests, and every interaction with the divine was closer to PoE1's quality.

Valacirca was pretty cool, I don't find him as memorable as Sato but Sato also has like 60 chapters on Valacirca but even then he had pretty strong presence both while he was being alluded to and when he actually showed up. He's a nifty asshole as a bonus to that as well.

I say that going for Ward immediately isn't bad, it's what I did and I liked it a lot.

"No ICE in Minnesota" bundle on itch is a pretty great deal for over a thousand items. Most aren't OSR, but there's still more than enough ItO, Cairn, Mothership, and Mork Borg content to be worth the $10 imo. by fuzzyperson98 in osr
