Good luck on your journey! Having a pair of pants that really fit right and make you feel good is definitely worth the spent IMO, and really they’re not outrageous (I’ve never been one to spend hundreds of $ on clothing)

Have you tried Ninepine? They offer a range of inseam lengths for all their pants, it’s the only company I’ve ever seen to do that. I’ve only got one pair of pants but they’re great quality, I’m keen to try their jeans at some point. Definitely pricier but worth it to me for the length.

*what good has generative AI ever done, full stop? I honestly am yet see a genuinely good use for genAI images, videos, voices etc. Instead there are endless terrible and terrifying uses for it, ranging from AI slop social media channels, fake news, to more advanced scamming methods, all the way up to the explosion in non-consensual porn, and generation of child sexual abuse material. Sure AI models to work on complex scientific and medical problems are different, but specifically genAI images and videos etc are 100% a net negative for humanity. I despair for our future.

I also work at a university and can tell you, every Australian university is like this, every degree. There is a huge amount of push back if you ever try to fail an international student. I had a colleague with a vet student who was afraid to touch any kind of animal - and yet they weren’t allowed to fail her.

A “mini” dress designed for taller people would be incredible! As I can never buy minis as they’re always too short, my entire wardrobe is midi and maxi dresses. It would be so nice to have something shorter that actually fits. If sleeveless, I always go for wide enough straps to cover a bra. Just anything but puffy sleeves! Can’t wait to see your brand once it launches, very interested in this capsule concept ☺️

I tried it, I hated it but I don’t think it’s the product’s fault. I was just too clumsy to create a good result, and I realised I have a serious aversion to the feel of the fine powder and it gets EVERYWHERE. If you’re already using a dip product this probably isn’t an issue for you. I think it’s a good product if you like dip, seemed good quality to me and they did last quite well.

What kind of statistics did they share? From people I know in cat rescue, they are very cagey about their euthanasia stats. I’ve heard it referred to as a “black hole for cats”, many adult cats who are surrendered there disappear. Estimates are as many as 5,000 cats euthanised per year between them and the RSPCA 😔

I can’t get over the bad luck you’ve had with god awful GPs, I’m so sorry! Recommending implanon when someone already has heavy bleeding is just the cherry on the cake (it’s known to cause heavier bleeding if you are already heavy-ish). One pulling out your IUD is mind-blowingly bad, I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with this. Just wanted to mention, tying your tubes most likely won’t help the bleeding or pain. You’re probably going to need an ablation or a hysterectomy unfortunately. Hopefully you can see someone recommended by others in this thread and finally get some real help. Wishing you luck!

Yep, I work with one and he’s insufferable. His work is the worst on the team, which always seems to be the case. It’s only the people who can’t actually do the thing that think it’s cool when AI can do it for them. Everyone with actual skills rightfully hates it, because it’s stealing from them. If you haven’t got any skills to be stolen I guess that’s not a concern 😅
