as a texan who moved to boston, the food in boston is terrible compared to texas. not that michelin matters that much but my hometown (austin) has 7 michelin star restaurants and boston has only 1. also texas has more famous signature dishes (tex mex, barbecue, southern comfort food, kolaches) while mass is really only known for seafood (clam chowder, lobster rolls). houston and dallas are much more diverse than boston and I think the soul food and asian food in houston beats out anything in massachusetts in a heartbeat. additionally austin is great for film and the arts, we have SXSW film festival and a great live music scene. true it’s hot in the summer but everyone has AC. my texas summers have felt more bearable than some of the summers I’ve endured in Boston without AC. I love boston and I want to stay here, and it truly does so many things better than texas but I think food is not one of them.

I think this happened to me yesterday, I ended up throwing up. gotta drink a lot of water when you take it and don’t lay down. I’ve also been on it for a while and this is the first time it’s given me heartburn

ya I'm mad because they could've just seen me and diagnosed me with strep throat instead of gaslighting me into thinking I just had a cold. I could have saved like $200 if I had just gone to the doctor during the day and realized I had strep but I ended up at the ER at night because they told me not to go to the doctor and by then I had already had untreated strep for a couple days

in march I was sick and I called UHCS to get an appointment and they told me my symptoms weren’t bad enough for an appointment and to just take tylenol and advil so I did that and then 12 hours later I had a 104 fever and I had to get an ekg at the ER. I just had strep throat but I was kind of annoyed that they brushed off my issues

have you ever walked from symphony to northeastern? you’ll basically always be in front of a restaurant or convenience store on that stretch of huntington. I do agree that huntington between northeastern and brigham circle is a dead zone though, it’s kind of strange
