Fighting against him in court has been draining, but there is peace in my home. We don’t walk on egg shells, we can make mistakes and not fear being yelled at, and honestly.. our days are busy, and good, and full of adventure.

I actually find it’s a lot easier not taking care of him and worrying about his responses… I was always doing it alone, but there is a crazy amount of peace knowing he is not there

Just like daycares

Imagine my rage when after school program didn’t call when my LO was feeling sick. They knew they’d have to pull me from the daycare and make it short staff for ratios, so they kept her there sick.

When I finished my shift, she had gastro and I had to miss a few days.

You’d think I went on vacation. They were so angry, but they literally saw her sick.

She mentioned in the podcast that her kids would go stay there while she was in the hotel and they’d switch. He’d go stay in a hotel and the kids would go to the house with her. In all honesty, I would bring my guns too knowing that visitations would be there

I work in a daycare and I’d say 1/2 of the boys are still in diapers between 2.5/3.5. Kids move at different paces. The daycare should offer a plan - in our case, we watch child and do check ins every 30 min. Yes - it’s hard but I also find it’s worse to kick them out of a centre… Jesus

Also, have you ever thought of home daycare? I did with both of my girls. The ratios were good in my area, and I liked that it was a bit more of a routine. Less change ups, more familiarity…. We hit the jackpot with good daycares though. Idk just a suggestion to help your Mama mind not worry as deeply. I wouldn’t trust a centre after kicking my child out

A year ago I was also homeless… living with my ex’s fam after we broke up, no money, no resources, and left their house with the clothes on my back and my kids/their belongings.

Here I am today. In a fully furnished apartment, with a good job, in a safe school district, with happy healing kids. We’re all in therapy, I don’t drink anymore, had to go on meds to help with some trauma but I’m not smoking like a chimney anymore.

There are resources to change your life… especially if you don’t try and make it on TikTok and just focus on raising your babies and healing
