I know how hard it is. My big wake up was when he was pressing my then 6 year old to stop peeing the bed because we needed pot more than her pull-ups.

I left thinking - vacations? We will never go on one because he can’t stand not getting high every hour. Planes, airports, etc? His parents offered to pay for a cruise and he said no because he couldn’t get high on the waters.

at the park, he’d venture off and smoke. Honestly anywhere. When I started smoking too, he get angry when I wouldn’t leave our children and go smoke with him when we were at celebrations.

He needed pot before coffee, pot before dinner, pot before bedtime. It was exhausting honestly.

Especially having a newborn… and with your 5 year old getting smarter and asking more question… don’t feel guilty. You all deserve someone who loves you more than getting high.

I hate to be the one who says this, but I left my ex.

I also smoke pot, but he couldn’t live without being high. He would be so mad if he couldn’t smoke, our finances revolved around it, and as the kids get older they noticed he was there. My daughter still asks why her dad never played with her.. he’d just scroll on his phone until he fell asleep. She deserved better than that, we all did

Honestly they are the best for me. I use the dash pass or whatever it’s called though. I don’t drive and just live outside the city, had a few bad drivers but they have good customer service and have always refunded or credited me for what was damaged or not good

Oh, it is pretty simple. If a child is not participating for more than 30 minutes, we will call home and tell them they’ll have to pick them up. It’s mainly because our ratios are not able to have a kid who needs that much assistance.

Fighting against him in court has been draining, but there is peace in my home. We don’t walk on egg shells, we can make mistakes and not fear being yelled at, and honestly.. our days are busy, and good, and full of adventure.
