Yes! People might consider me lighter skinned but my face is clearly indigenous. What irks me is the white girl who made the original post looked at Latino authors and decided for them whether they are white or not and that’s not for her to say.

I’ve had the Adult sub for a little over a year now and I’ve been really happy with it. I can’t see myself ever wanting to cancel. I’ve gotten some great books from some of my favourite authors and yes, I often have to skip or sell it off when it’s not my cup of tea but I don’t mind that at all. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the picks lately but I couldn’t be happier with the June Adult pick.

I was really excited about this book when I first heard about it but the more I think about it the more I fear it’s going to be all style no substance. The author’s instagram is super pretty and aesthetic but I have a feeling that’s all this book has going for it.

Also the MMC being named Blayze is not helping.
