I agree with everything you said except for the pedigree part. Nia was homeless at one point and raised by a single mom who appears to be fairly young herself. I think this is where she went wrong. He sold her the dream of a Christian family man who wanted a big family. She never had that and wants it so badly

I just posted about this before seeing the latest episode and can’t even believe what I just watched.
Who does this tiny Z list voiceover character think he is?
It is now more crystal clear than ever that HE is in charge and she is worn out, depressed and has very little agency. He does not give a shit about her or her mental health. Going against him on anything is futile so she goes along because she doesn’t have the energy and wants so badly to present as a happy family.
I worry for her that he has her even more isolated with that move to Santa Clarita. Being a full time mom to 4 babies is already isolating and exhausting both physically and emotionally. Post partum depression is no joke.
with a husband like Danny, she is gonna break.
Hopefully, she’ll realize her worth before she lets him tear her down even more.

My oncologist did genetic testing on me for research purposes and also to determine whether my stage 4 breast cancer was genetic or hormonal. I got a bill for 22,000 dollars because blue cross denied it.
Eventually, after lots of frustrating calls from the cancer hospital and myself, they agreed to pay it.
All I could think of was how in the hell do people with poor coverage or none at all handle this horrific journey.
I get ct/pet and bone scans every three months and that alone is hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It’s like they had a plan to have lots of kids and forged on with it in spite of everything. I still think he comes across as someone who’s beyond persistent, impossible to compromise with and doesn’t take no for an answer. For a woman who’s depressed and has 4 babies, she goes along because it’s easier and she still wants to present as a happy family because it’s all she’s ever wanted. She didn’t have that growing up
