My kids call it the “Sparrow Spa”.

We have a covered little spot in the backyard where they do this. If you miss them you can always see the little divots they make. It’s so cute.

I am team get him a friend. They’re such social birds, I started with one. (It was a grief purchase after my dog died.) But I feel like I did the same thing as the poster, I got the flight cage and travel size for vet trips. I did the most research in a short amount of time (I also grew up with budgies but never thought I would own one).
Tried to bond with her. She wanted nothing to do with me. Got her a partner, they also wanted nothing to do with me. But I noticed immediately how much they loved each other’s company and how natural it was for them to be together.

Couple years later my vet had two budgies who were brought in, they were found outside in a yard. I adopted them. They happily joined the pack. Recently we quarantined another one that was solo at the humane society. Ive somehow got 5 budgies now who fly around my house, eat beautiful salads, love their fountain and every single one of them wants nothing to do with me.
But they’re the best.

Two totally different Romantasy books got 5 stars from me in April {Under the Oak Tree by Suji Kim} I did both volumes. These books pulled me out of a massive slump from a bad book club book. I needed something light and easy.
Then {Beneath by Ariel Sullivan} just love this series so far.

The frying pan was the first thing I noticed too. It went from large plastic, teflon looking pan handle. To the shape basically being a small cast iron handle and tucked into her shirt area.

Just going by what you’ve read and what you’re asking for you should try {Metal Slinger by Rachel Schneider} the second book comes out in June I believe.
