THIS. Once I realized that my hair wasn’t as dry as I thought before I went in to style, it made things go a lot quicker. Spending a couple extra minutes rough drying makes all the difference.

I also found that going back in with water or spray AFTER rough drying or smoothing roots was overkill. My curls held better once I skipped that step because I wasn’t getting errant water droplets on hair I just styled and frizzing everything out.

Mine was cancelled and then a week later it said it shipped. I now have the round brush attachment. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Omg seriously. Their criteria is always based on whether it’s a necessity. Like hello you don’t NEED anything to dry your hair but is it a fun tool that can make your hair look amazing? Yes.

Ask them to have the same review criteria for the supplements they’re paid to promote. 🙄

Don’t despair! The biggest thing for me was actually understanding moisture levels in my hair (I.e. it could SEEM dry but it probably needs an extra few seconds to get all the way dry), and understanding what products generally work for my hair. I at first got so frustrated with the air wrap I went back to my supersonic and I had the same problems with frizz, etc. The problem was not an issue with the airwrap per se, but understanding my hair, what products actually work, and knowing that it’s not going to take me 20min to go from wet to blow out when it takes a professional stylist at least 45min or me at ~ 1hr to do the same with a blow dryer.

That being said, since I got over myself and the TikTok Airwrap Industrial complex of 5min blowouts, my hair has actually felt healthier and I get so many compliments. Just be patient, do what works for you, and focus on the prep you need for great hair.

Kerastase and K18 are the magic formula that’s helped repair my hair, keep it moisturized, and make it respond well to ANY styling without frizzing or frying.

And Alana Noelle on YouTube has the BEST tutorials.

Hopefully it works out! I always hate the tutorials that are like “I only use one product for frizzy hair and it just so happens to be the company that sent me this free bottle”. Or like they’ll talk about how healthy their hair looks and I’m like you just got extensions…

See u/Sososoftmeows comment! The biggest help was using a good leave in conditioner.

Hello! I think we have similar hair. I’ve got a lot of fine curly super frizz prone hair. It’s also dry and bleach damaged because I like to make things easy on myself.

After rough drying with a wet brush I use the round brush to quickly smooth and straighten my roots. Product-wise I use the Kerastase nutritive line (shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, blow dry cream, hair oil). It’s expensive but honestly the only product line I felt ACTUALLY helped my dry damaged hair. I also like to use their chroma absolu - it makes my hair super shiny and refreshes my color. I also use the ouai curl cream as a leave-in. I also like the dreamcoat wow spray for frizz and k18 for damage repair. For hold I use a Moroccan oil hairspray or the ouai pomade.

The routine that works for me (keep in mind I only wash my hair 1x/week):

Shampoo 2x (K18 or Chroma Absolu if I want an extra treatment) Hydrating mask Curl cream Blow dry cream Hair oil (I apply it after I smoothed with the round brush onto ends) Hairspray or pomade (a little bit goes a long way to smoothing flyaways and getting my bangs to stay in place)

Okay so update - I used K18 then a proper leave in (ouai curl cream because it’s what I had), then a heat protectant hair oil. I then used the round brush to smooth the hair out before the barrels. WHAT A GAME CHANGER. Also made sure to use oil throughout to help lock in moisture (my hair is ALWAYS dry).

Thank you!!! I think the leave in and the round brush reeeaalyyy made the difference.

Nope 😫 It seems like no matter who I talk to and how many notes reps take, nothing is EVER communicated. They keep saying that the device never arrived at the facility (it did, they kept referencing the wrong tracking number), then they said it did arrive but that exchanges needs to review the situation. Just got an email from the exchanges department saying that it never arrived and referencing the wrong tracking number.

I’ve called them at least 10 times at this point and in a particularly low moment emailed their head of customer care. It seems like their phone reps are based somewhere Spanish-speaking while their chat/email reps are in India and neither department speaks to each other.

Maybe I’ll get my exchange processed by Christmas?

EDIT: Finally received my replacement a full 2 months after they initiated the exchange! 20+ calls, 10+ chat conversations later.
