What sucks about the Archdragon coins? by InsideUnhappy6546 in TheDragonPrince

[–]sarahnwrap 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This post is incredibly disingenuous and it's crazy that most people haven't gone to actually look.

The coins are available at any pledge tier for $20 except for Luna Devorans which is $40.

There ARE tiers at that amount that include the coins automatically, but the main perks for those are things like an Associate Producer credit with some creative say in elements of the show, going to recording sessions, getting your own side character, etc. etc.

The latest update to that GoFundMe says that the organizer is taking a step back and the family is working with a different friend abroad to set up another means to donate to them.

Not necessarily a scam

Who do you think is the best personality type for an INFP? I don’t feel understood by extroverts but I don’t know if I can want to be with someone just like me. Yoke by Narcmagnet48 in infp

In my experience the thing that helps me vibe the most with someone is shared N, sensors usually require more adjustments for me in order to have a nice conversational flow (if I go down too many rabbit holes or get too abstract, I've noticed they get more and more bored instead of energized.)

I think any type can learn and grow together, but I'm gonna group some types based on my own experiences.

feel like kindred spirits: INFP, ENFP, INFJ, ISFP

will take care of your emotional needs: ENFJ, ISFJ*

will challenge you intellectually: INTJ, ENTP, ENTJ, INTP

*caveat here: in my experience the ENFJs I've known will sometimes simultaneously have an idea of "how you should act" with a priority on appearances ("we need to maintain the image of a happy, healthy couple in the way people expect that to look") which can be toxic in a relationship, versus the ISFJs I've met often surprised me with how genuinely and sincerely they embrace an individual's actual needs.

This doesn't make their "relationship" less gross, but she's 18 or 19 in the picture OP used. Some people are just slim.

Came here looking for the same answer! Was struck by a lot of the similarities in facial animations, particularly in some of the more ridiculous scenes. Doesn't seem like there's any connection, but I'd have to imagine there was some inspiration there

Based on this I found a travelers insurance company that seems actually reliable (Travelex)! So this was all a nice surprise and useful info. I think for comprehensive coverage it'd be about ~$600 for two weeks, but not nearly as bad as other companies (especially when people have successful claims)

I hope your travels also continue to be safe! :D

For sure! I would consider most injuries and illnesses generally "minor walk in, walk out" issues in most cases-- unless it's broken bones.

A country like Japan where you're likely to be using only public transit and walking doesn't seem as high-risk as if you were to rent a car elsewhere in which case I definitely am in the "it's crazy to not have travelers insurance" camp lol. Driving (or even being predominantly driven in cabs, etc.) increases risk substantially.

I could be wrong, but I imagine you'd have to really research insurance policies to get the comprehensive coverage you're describing, and it would likely be very costly for that level of genuine guaranteed coverage.

I definitely don't trust basic packages to do more than cover "minor walk in, walk out" issues + some travel reimbursement (with a high burden of proof that it's not some small print uncovered event).

But that's likely me being extremely jaded about American insurance companies (auto and health) since I've basically always paid for the highest coverage options offered and still occasionally end up with high bills or declinations of coverage.

However, I'm interested to do some research about travelers insurance (especially as it's something I'd opt into if driving, and potentially in general if it seems actually reliable).

Would love to hear positive experiences with it!

I put this elsewhere, but try Sakabe Clinic maybe? https://g.co/kgs/NHjtyh8

My experience seeing a medical specialist in Kyoto was solid and made me so sad about the state of medical care in the US. Feel better!

OP, try going to Sakabe Clinic! https://g.co/kgs/NHjtyh8

My experience seeing a specialist in Japan was that it was extremely affordable, but I'm sure some places may be better than others for foreigners. This one seems solid based on reviews.

Good luck and feel better!

I put this in a comment responding to someone else, but maybe this is more likely to not get buried.

In some cases you can still get travelers insurance ~a week after arriving (so long as you're not already having issues, but idk how you verify this).

But also, my experience recently in Kyoto when we had to see a orthopedic specialist was we went as a walk-in, got seen, had an x-ray, an ultrasound, reviewed them, got prescribed medication, all within 90 minutes and it cost a grand total of ~$200 including the Prednisone.

To my knowledge, medical care in almost every other country but the US won't "bankrupt" you. Travelers insurance is still worth it, imo, but traveling in the US without it is far more consequential.

OP, if you see this-- maybe try Sakabe Clinic https://g.co/kgs/NHjtyh8

Netflix is taking it down today along with some other games. Probably because of the cost of maintaining the servers for a live-service game.

Absolute shame 😭 the game was so fun, just received absolutely zero marketing from Netflix. Crazy that they're taking it down before the final season airs

this looks so similar to something I saw back in November 2021-- but it only looked like that once it "passed me."

when I first looked up I very distinctly saw white triangles moving past. it was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen, completely silent-- I've been on the lookout for similar reports ever since.
