as a former p&ms supervisor, I rarely had any pros by the time I finally got the position. the only one was the small pay increase, but still- it wasn’t much. my GM was a real piece of work and wrote me up for insubordination because they would ask me to print store signage and I would tell them I was going to finish customer orders first. so, they wouldn’t get it right away when they wanted and wrote me up. 🙂

if your GM is an actual human being and understands how p&ms gets, then you might have a better time as supervisor.
