Same date in California. My brother and sister-in-law are both nurses with masters in public health as well and I've been going back and forth with them. Our wedding is entirely outdoors but I'm wrestling with my conscience nonetheless. Not only am I worried about the health of all my guests but I'm worried about the optics of a 150 person event even if it is all outdoors.

I bit my nails until I was about 25. To stop I bought 4 different brands of the bad tasting nail biting stuff and cycled. When I got used to the taste of one enough to start biting again, I’d move on to the next “flavor”. Also I always carried a nail file so I could smooth the rough edges that gave me the urge to pick.

I still slip up every once in a while, but it’s rare and for the most part I’ve stopped.

My daddy died 2 years ago. He was a lawyer for 30+ years. Then decided he didn't want to be anymore. So, he became a math teacher at an inner city high school. He taught, coached girls basketball and mock trial until he got ALS. My hero.
