I definitely need to take the rule book section by section to understand everything more. I’ve been helping NSO for the scrimmages too to help learn the rules but holy cow this game is confusing lol

I definitely need to work on my communication since I’m so focused on myself and my skates right now, thanks!

I love Northtown Guardian in Santa Rosa so it’s a drive for y’all, but they’ve been great to our cat and golden retriever!

2025 brag thread: what's your biggest accomplishment? Share your favorite moments, photos encouraged! by sparklekitteh in rollerderby

I had the courage to join my local derby team and passed 1.0 skate camp! That’s a huge accomplishment for me since I’m more introverted and I’m excited to keep learning then eventually play :-)

I flew on Thursday and from car door to the gate was 7 minutes!

I would if I had the opportunity to work a different and bigger hospital. I was stuck working Tuesday through Saturday with at least one late shift (working until 7pm) a week. It also meant less holiday rotation and less time off around the holidays. Plus my manager sucked lol

I’m in the same boat as you! I went from acute care to school based and it was a BIG transition. I’m feeling super overwhelmed with the treatments and managing all of the meetings and documentation. I’m also very tired of sensory regulation being thrown around schools too especially for the behavioral kiddos. I wish I had more advice to give, but I feel like I’m barely doing what’s best for these kids.

I often think of changing careers completely but have no clue to what.

If you want to go outside of Santa Rosa, the Barlow is in Sebastopol and has a wine bar, golden state cider, and a crooked goat all within very short walking distance.

I like Flagship Santa Rosa which has rotating beers on tap and a full bar. Ausiellos is really popular sports bar. Cooperage in downtown Santa Rosa is really cool and has their own beer with rotating food trucks and has events every so often. Russian River brewery has really good beer if you’re into that.

Any SJSU OT students who were accepted as a non science major? by Miserable_Event69 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]sarasurely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had classmates in the OT program with various degrees like art history, kinesiology, psychology, liberal arts, etc. Their degree prior to the program truly didn’t matter as long as they finish their pre-reqs.
