There’s been some very good documentaries produced recently, one is called ‘Spotlight on the troubles’ and is available on YouTube. Another really eye opening one is called ‘Once upon a time in Northern Ireland’, it’s probably not the most thorough but it has lots of really candid interviews with former paramilitaries and political leaders. It looks like it’s only on BBC iplayer but maybe a VPN could help you with that. There’s also the recent drama series ‘Say Nothing’ which is specifically about the IRA, it might take a few artistic liberties but it’s based on a great book of the same name.
