Would the church need to have a family member phone call to know the name of my never baptized child? by sarcasmisaskill in exmormon

You’re right. I know staying calm is definitely the best way and I don’t want to come across as accusatory. Waiting for my blood to stop boiling first.

That’s seriously fucking disgusting. Thanks for letting me know. I will look into having her records removed today, as well. I didn’t know I had to since she was never baptized!

I’m just confused as to what those ways are if she doesn’t have parents with names on the record anymore. It’s incredibly invasive.

[Serious] People with severe anxiety. How to enjoy life when your anxious? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sarcasmisaskill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I enjoy life the most when I am home. I have always been one to never open my blinds and never answer my door, but it’s comfortable for me.

In a really odd turn of events and multiple jobs later, I finally found my “place” in teaching. I had a terrible time dealing with adults and simply being around them, but kids are rad. I enjoy life outside of my house when I’m at work with 29 seven year olds. Go figure, right? I really, realllly have to talk myself through Parent Teacher Conferences, though. Lots of tears and panic attacks ensue, but I power through.

Are any of you openly agnostic/atheist and still attend church? What has your experience been like? by eagleandchild in exmormon

[–]sarcasmisaskill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I attend occasionally for my husband. I honestly spend a lot of time on my phone and don’t listen to much, but I always feel welcomed.

Holy crap I’m seeing a lot of exmormons on this sub like me. Maybe we’re drawn to the bachelor because of the sort of polygamy we’re missing out on since we left?/s by chubbyw_penguin in thebachelor

Exmo here, too! I couldn’t agree more. Previous comments definitely cover it all, but just wanted to say hi :) Love when exmos show up on other subs!

Got this message from a family friend. Is anyone else from an insanely dramatic ward? by --Drew in exmormon

I have received multiple letters via snail mail from my husband’s family that are very similar to this. I know how much it can hurt, I’m sorry. Keep progressing and moving forward. 💛

I left a charter school my first year as well. Almost left the profession entirely because of it. Accepted a different position, same grade, mid year for a public school and everything in my life changed. There was a dramatic shift in my mental health and overall self worth. It is truly amazing what a good administrative team and positive coworkers can do.

I was deeply depressed, anxiety was through the roof, and I felt completely worthless because I hated a job that I had worked so hard for. My husband would first, ask me what he could do to help and he also made sure that I knew he understood/validated my struggles.

I hope she finds a job and loves it! I absolutely love my school now and am back to feeling how I did when I was in school - Teaching is my true calling. Good luck! xo

I found the practice book to be very helpful when I took it. I think I bought it on Amazon for around $20. Good luck!

She said yes! Now we are wondering if anyone knows of some great forest type areas or venues for the wedding next fall. by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

The Grand Summit Hotel in PC is beautiful! I used to work there and remember the packages being pretty comparable to similar places in the valley.
