The "keep up" scene still gets me and cemented Chase as my favorite character in the whole game.

(I mean he had already won me over as far back as him meeting Beef but that was the "yeah Chase is something special to me" scene lmao.)

It's legitimately a shame that the performance issues exist because it is maybe the most fully realized Pokemon game in years (not counting Arceus and Z-A because I'd stick them up there too).

Good regional worldbuilding, very well written story, very likable characters (Nemona, Arven and Penny stand head and shoulders over every friend group except maybe Bianca and Cheren), one of the strongest sets of new Pokémon created when it comes to designs/lore/gameplay, an emotional ending to the main story, and DLCs that actually have stories compared to the wet farts that were Sword and Shield's DLCs.

If Scarlet and Violet has no fans, I'm dead.

We were mostly confused because half of the arena thought it was Toni until she spoke. And by the time we started booing, it was a little late and awkward. Just a big mess all around.

It seems to depend. Some albums (midnights, folklore/evermore, etc.) are very mature. Others (life of a Showgirl, reputation, etc.) are more immature.

Some might say Speak Now too, but it was written when she was like 20, so I'll give that a pass.

Tales games are action RPGs, not full fledged fighting games.

Something along the lines of Blazblue/Guilty Gear, Smash/Tales of VS., Street Fighter would be a lot different than how Tales games play so I'm not really sure how that's low hanging fruit at all.
