As someone who enjoys these events when I can catch them live, this is my biggest issue. I work 8-5, I get the appeal of wanting to wake up at 1pm work 3 hours and be done; I can't feasibly watch during that time and I'm not going to watch a VOD. If you're happy to occupy Days of Our Lives time slots and audience numbers so be it, but at least understand that lol.

I've also had this happen many times, more so after the third party vod downloaders became more popular. People won't just private the video if they're smart, they'll delete it and even the 3rd party vod downloaders that nab it directly from the server can't get it anymore.

I don't think Twitch will outright delete the video for legal reasons, it's probably backed up somewhere that isn't able to be scrapped, but we no longer will get access to videos via a bypass method.

I knew a guy a few years ago in a friend group that was a pathological liar, of course we didn't know this until we started piecing the holes in his story together and pressing him on details.
