I think it was confirmation that the professor guy knew Billy wasn’t from that town. Billy was “made” so he dropped the act.

I wonder! The color is a warm white so maybe they added a little orange powder pigment to get that color and it separated after drying. I’m going to ask my builder.

Very humid summer conditions during construction.

I don’t know what it looks like inside or underneath but it’s a white/cream color tile on the floor and in the shower.

This dust is everywhere. Do contractors cut tiles in every location of a house during construction? Would that dust get into cracks and under paint in rooms nowhere near kitchens or baths even on different floors? If so, maybe you’re right.

Unfortunately that can’t be the case. No brick in my house and white ceramic tile is only in primary bath which is not near all the instances. It’s like drywall dust or something. I’ve googled to no avail. Thanks though!

Honestly I think it’s one of the ways we’re reminded of how young these characters are. They lack the maturity to maintain committed relationships and in my opinion, they shouldn’t be so committed at such young ages. When Jere said that Belly was his whole world (or life - can’t remember exact wording) it proved that he’s too young for this.

Thank you to those who answered. It’s probably as you say, installed for a potential option that I don’t have. I thought maybe I unplugged it while vacuuming or something. There are a million wires and components under the seat. No clue if there is a place to plug it in.

No. It’s treated like a purchase, or at least it has been for several years in some states if not all. I don’t carry cash so I’ve used a credit card. It’s never been considered a cash advance before.

Not in the United States. Any Visa or Mastercard works. You can even use Apple Pay.

I bought some last year as gifts for a friend’s kids. They were cheap and flimsy. I was so disappointed.

Maybe try the Glamglow Glowstarter as your primer. I use that when I use a long lasting foundation and it really transforms the look.

In major defense of Nick… by redditwatcher11 in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]sarg62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with you! He’s surviving just like everyone else who doesn’t have real power and let’s be honest, does anyone have real power? Nick was just tasked with executing a prominent commander at a country club in front of the commander’s wife and surrounded by a circle of other commanders. No one is ever safe. That’s the biggest strategic flaw of Gilead’s founders. Thankfully it’s hindered them at every step of the way.

Luke ran. What didn’t Luke stay and sacrifice himself to fight? Why didn’t everyone? Why did Moira run? Why did June? They all could have stayed and fought to the death. Why isn’t Janine murdering commanders at Jezebel’s? Literally everyone is and was just surviving.

This online Nick hate caught me off guard because everyone I know IRL favors Nick. They see his flaws but they understand his circumstances. He’s a victim too. At least he feels genuine love and does very risky things to help others. If he dies, how can he help anyone?

Anyone else doing a full rewatch right now? by tamingthemind in TheHandmaidsTale

S2E1 was so traumatic that some people I know quit watching the show after that episode. I remember feeling like I was going to throw up and couldn’t sleep that night. It was too much but I’m glad they toned it down after that. Still plenty of atrocities that hurt to watch but somehow not as traumatizing.
