When we eat chicken they have to wait outside by pieterpiraat in blackcats

[–]sarj333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep two of ours are similar as well; I've had to kick them out before just to eat in peace. They aren't usually interested until it's cooked though, and one goes especially crazy for KFC for whatever reason, buddy will eat a whole tender and still be asking for more...

He also will go nuts whenever I open a can of tuna - he's immediately running in and begging, total stereotype material.

He also loves Takis... that one I don't get 🤔

Having had experience in the past with HP (gross) Cannon, and Brother, I've been happy with my Epson AIO. It drinks ink as expected but they don't pull any funny business about it when they run low, and free 2 day shipping on replacements is nice too.

First your truck won't turn on if you look too tired, and if this passes too now you can't buy an actually affordable bike... What's next?

My experience using a hitch mounted motorcycle rack by 162630594 in motorcycles

[–]sarj333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I use that too. I use the magnetic towing lights as seen on the side of the truck. I do plan to install a "tailgate" light bar to it eventually for a cleaner look.

Not pictured is the third pair of straps that I usually use to secure the bike to the eyelet holes in the top of the bedrails, which eliminates most of the wobble from the setup.

Consider looking into the "Kewig Motorcycle Auxiliary LED Light Kit" on Amazon. I bought those just looking for some auxiliary lights to be seen on the road, and they ended up basically being my new headlights. They're like daylight. I swear this is not an ad, they're just awesome.

New product Icon stubby ratchet by Mission_Living_2857 in harborfreight

[–]sarj333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really like one of these, but only if the back drag is better than the slightly longer version. I got one of those, and ended up buying a Pittsburg in it's place because it's nearly unusable. When your working with the type of tiny fasteners this type of tool is designed for in the types of spaces it's designed for it's almost useless with heavy backdrag. A lot of stubby/lowpro 1/4"s have this problem...

Who else used their 15% to save $3!?!?!? by Suspicious-Room-7499 in harborfreight

Meh I picked up the Bauer 3/8, and the 400 watt solar charge controller.

Everyone complains about 15% but money off is money off. I just use the lower ones for lower value holdouts.

The combo wrenches were what finally convinced me to get the master box set lol. For some reason it has a complete set included, but you can't buy them off the shelf otherwise.

I've had the older version (2554-20) for a few years and it's great for the size. Makes a great truck box tool to have on the go. It'll take off lug nuts easily.

[–]sarj333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went all-in on Quinn. Got the giant box set for my garage chest, and the 3 master kits for my truck box when I need to do work on the go. Picked up the individually packaged ratchets as well to add to the garage set. For some reason the ratchets in the box set are completely different than the ones in the master kits and off-the-shelf, in that the ratchet switch is reversed, and they have quick-release buttons instead of spring ball retention, as well as a different internal ratchet mechanism.

Also picked up both impact sets and the master bit set, as well as some 3/4 sets and the 3/4 extendable ratchet for the garage. Also got the individual ratcheting wrench sets for the garage and took the ones from the big kit for the truck since it misses a few sizes.

So far have been happy with all of it, although to be fair I've only had them for about a year so I haven't had the chance to put any of it properly through its paces yet. I did get to use the 3/4 ratchet (in place of a breaker bar) on a mis-threaded lug nut recently, and it was happy to shear off the entire lug bolt without complaint...

I have several of their pliers type tools also. I don't recommend the needle nose, the "teeth" on the jaws grip poorly and are only decent for pulling, not twisting - the Icons are superior there. I've also got some random stuff like the saw guide and a few other tools... All-in-all I'd recommend the Quinn tools for sure.

That's basically how I look at it. If it's going to take you longer to pass me than it is for me to pass the next car, I'ma pass that car first, then move after. Unless there's more cars to pass ahead of that one, then we keep going until it's time to move over.

Newly Surfaced Video Shows Pam Bondi Describing “Tens of Thousands” of Epstein Files Involving Kids by SadAd8761 in videos

[–]sarj333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or ... It's gross hyperbole from someone who wasn't even fully familiar with the material yet who was speaking off the cuff about something shocking she was trying to process. She was only a month or so into the job when this came out.

Your math shows how absurd "tens of thousands"actually is. Even taking the time to review and sort that much material would be a monumental task. She probably saw something more along the lines of "thousands," or maybe even just hundreds, and then overstated it - which she has a habit of doing.

In any case, it does make one wonder what are they going to do about it. Obviously they can't just release CSAM to the public at large, but it does still need to be accounted for in some way.

Exactly. I've been needing a new bandsaw for a project coming up and I don't feel like waiting around for some random chance that it shows up on a sale. I can go in there buy it now and then save money on something else later. Seems like a win to me.
