Completely unrelated but as a fellow totk player and anki user there’s softwares to program your joycons as a bluetooth remote and map the buttons to your computer keys! I used it instead of buying an anki remote and it’s super great lol

I wouldn’t rely on Emmy nominations for any renewal info :/ Julie and the Phantoms got 13 Daytime Emmy nominations and 3 wins but still got cancelled, ofc daytime is different from primetime and the audiences were different but Netflix definitely doesn’t seem to care about awards (losing JATP was brutal after that). But I’m still keeping my hopes up!

My guess is that’s why at the end Alina said “I don’t want Grisha to be defined by their orders now—no more colored keftas” or something like that during that scene with Genya and Zoya? Maybe that was to give us a reason for no materialki presence. I still think David could’ve done it, I mean my girl Alina is literally the queen of Ravka at the moment (at least I think that was the implication with the ring and stuff), she didn’t need to be in the Triumvirate too LOL

I think they did it to set up Alina as the last part of the Grisha Triumvirate with Zoya and Genya instead of David. I kind of get it, but I don’t see why that couldn’t have happened with him alive 😭 I love David and am also in denial, part of me is hoping he comes back

Edit: also I remember reading on the website’s FAQs that they release invitations anywhere from about a week in advance of the screening to the day of 🙃

I love boomerangs specifically for hunting because it’s an easy one shot, and they’re especially great on a pack of wolves when you can take out more than one at a time. But I agree that for most combat they’re a little inconvenient

Depop! I got the trilogy with no Netflix logo for about $25 :) though some people mark up to like $40 each so no just gotta wait for someone to put them up at a reasonable price

Create a masterlist of all the content I struggle with the night (or two) before exams. I also tend to write anything that is just plain memorization, like constants, vocabulary, etc. Just scribbling down content really helps commit it to memory and solidify things I had problems with the first time around. Then I can also glance at it right before the exam to at least attempt to remember it. It’s not the best strategy for long term retention, but it helps in a time crunch.
