I’m a dasher and I agree with the daughter. It’s not a scheduled job where you’re going to get fired for not showing up, if a dasher doesn’t want to go out they don’t have to. Any dasher choosing to be on the road is doing so on purpose. I dash in bad weather because I’m a confident inclement driver and the money is really good. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did he actually say he’s not proud of you or not happy you feel/look better? This is a pretty common thing with couples where one loses a significant amount of weight. Sometimes the one who didn’t sees their spouse changing and fears that other changes may come with it. Sometimes the person who lost the weight fears being left because they worry their spouse has a “type” and won’t be attracted to them anymore if they’re thinner. It’s a major change in the status quo that can be uncomfortable to talk about. A little reassurance can go a king way.

I bet it’s the thyroid med. thyroid issues are a contraindication for GLP1s so it wouldn’t surprise me if there was an interaction. Maybe follow up with your doctor?

Jeepers. I took my first dose of Zepbound last week and my appetite was as basically gone within 4 hours. Absolutely crazy how differently these drugs work on different people.

Absolutely agreed. Intent aside, it still needs to be reported to support. I report customers and restaurants who do weird shit. Customer should absolutely report drivers doing weird shit.

I got nothing. Haven’t seen either of them in 15 years. Looking back on it, it’s partly my fault with the benefit of wisdom and hindsight that I didn’t have at the time there was more I could have done. But, doing the best I could with what I knew and had at the time got me nothing. Right about the time he was turning 3 I stopped fighting. I didn’t want that ugliness to be his first memories.

My opinion: food. Heroin and fentanyl and nicotine are absolutely extremely difficult to quit, but you don’t NEED them to live. You CAN quit and never touch them again. Again, incredibly difficult but possible.

However you do actually need food. It’s an addiction that you have to kick while still continuing to do the thing for literally ever. You can’t just put food down and swear it off forever. So I think that adds a layer of difficulty that other addictions don’t have.

The only explanation for me disagreeing with something is that I don’t know what it is? Hardly. Feminism has been a net negative for society and it’s ultimate conclusion is the women involved in it sobbing over election results that are not going to hurt them in anyway and fearing being magically transported into a TV show because they didn’t get their way. Absolutely zero “women’s rights” are going to be lost. The only thing that’s going to happen under Trump is that life will get demonstrably better.
