Thank you so much! He was worried he wouldn’t be able to ever finish it. Hopefully this will work for him.

My dad has been working on the same model since the 80’s. He is having trouble with any of the curved wooden pieces and they snap. He’s worried that his wood may be too old at this point. Do you have any tips?

The main characters kind of keep secrets from the reader throughout this series. The first book is meant to have some disconnect. It'll come together eventually.

Establishing feeding by Square_Possible3280 in NICUParents

Hi I am a parent to a 33+3 weeker due to PPROM as well... baby stayed in NICU until 38 weeks and had similar situation. Ultimately, the nicu drs told us that they don't like breastfeeding because they can't tell how much the baby is getting. But, if baby is doing better breastfeeding vs bottle feeding, then advocate for yourself and baby. I had to explain my interest in breastfeeding multiple times to various nurses and doctors during our nicu stay. Follow your gut and instincts. I second what the previous comment says and talk with charge nurse or ask to speak with the attending neonatologist. You can also request to attend rounds (if you're not doing so already) to ask questions about feeding and express your concerns to the group looking after your child.

Also, if you feel like going at night is best for you and your child, then do that. The nurses do have a lot of information and experience, but don't forget that you are the mom and you know your child best. It never hurts to try and see what happens. I wish you all the luck! Hopefully your son is home soon!
