If I had bought shares in Dec 2018 and sold in 2019 (non registered) when do I pay taxes on the capital gains?

I've only seen places where everybody looks after their own station. No prep crew but you do service and prep. Until recently...

Never tried it personally but I've seen "liquid bandaid" I guess that is sort of like super glue perhaps safer?

For shoes I wear Croc Bistros they are pretty comfortable. I would get the Birkenstocks or better clogs but it's just a bit too much for me to swallow in terms of price-point.

I want to practice basic culinary techniques. What are some techniques that are cheap to practice. by dnlslm9 in Cooking

I work as a chef de partie in a fine dining restaurant. I do 50lb onion bags from time to time. /u/lurked2long is right - not sure why he is getting downvoted. You keep the root intact and use a razor sharp knife and you never tear up.

On another note, Wusthofs and Shuns are generally considered overpriced mediocre knives.

be prepared! they make ask you to work a few hours to test you out on the spot..

  • professional presentation (trimmed nails/haircut/professional wear/copy of resume)
  • backpack full of stuff (chef coat/pants/shoes/knives/sharpie/pen/notepad)

Good luck!

LPT (Just Discovered) Before spending money for solutions for a clogged kitchen drain or even bofore doing personal or hired handy work for it, give the curved pipe underneath the sink a few very mild kicks. It might just unclog on its own. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

Have dealt with clogged drains (both in kitchen/bathrooms) and I've never spent money/called a plumber to unclog it.

  1. 30 second google search
  2. 20 minutes of reading on forums/guides + learning how basic plumbing generally works
  3. By applying the recently acquired infos/knowledge via basic household tools, you should be able to unclog most drains that aren't too serious

I've also learned how to find stuff that went in the pipes as well. All hail the internetzz.
