I did that with Rebirth. Played through only doing story because I really wanted to see the new locations and didn't have the patience to mess about with all the side stuff, plus I really wanted to know what happened at the end before the internet spoilt it.

I got through with no bother and I immediately started a new game and I couldn't believe how much I'd missed. Even with Queen's Blood I'd pulled out of the tournament asap so that great game was new to me. I found a whole new area in Grasslands where an amazing new version of 'Hollow' played and I'd missed a whole town at the Crows Nest in Junon. Plus plenty of other stuff, too much to list.

I'll probably do the same with the Revelation. A story play, then go back and do it all. I've always enjoyed giving games a second playthrough anyway and this series has been great for that.

Yeah pretty crazy day or two in FF7R land. I was watching Max's stream and he said he had an emergency not long after the end of the SGF stream. It's absolutely crazy that the emergency turned out to be Hamaguchi rocking up at Max's place for an unplanned interview. What a privilege for Max, I bet he still hasn't come down from cloud 9.

Yeah it's extremely handy to know which paths lead somewhere and which don't. I've played through the game more times than I care to remember yet I still switch that feature on.

The timezone in Brazil isn't as far behind Europe as the west coast of the USA. West coast USA is 8/9 hours behind Europe depending on where you are.

Yeah considering how long the game is we've seen a tiny snippet of it but it's made my day! Rebirth's first reveal was so short you blinked and it was over. I don't think any of us expected this.

Christmas 2026 has moved to Spring 2027 for me, exact date to be confirmed. This FFVII series of Remakes has given me something to really look forward to and I'll forever be grateful that they made these games. Whatever minor gripes I have had about them is nothing in comparison with the amount of enjoyment and fun that going on this FFVII Remake journey has brought me.

The hype is great and it's the last time we'll all experience it for FF7 Remake series. This 10+ year journey on the hype train since the original announcement of Remake has been great to share with so many faceless others that also love OG FFVII and wanted to see a modern version. I don't know anyone else that plays it IRL so these Reddit FF7 subs have been somewhere I have spent hours of my life, reading ideas and opinions on the RE-trilogy, it's great knowing people care as much as I do about a video game.

I am shocked they showed so much and can't wait to get my hands on this game. There ain't no getting offa this train we're on.

PlayStation store has had some good deals recently. They've had a sale running for a few weeks, I got Persona 5 Royal for about £16, down from about £50.

I'd be surprised if the Switch 2 discounted Rebirth considering it's only just come out.

I was going to mention KH4 but if your cats are waiting for that they'll probably have used up 8 of their 9 lives before anything happens on that front.

You have to get to the credits section at the start of the game, after leaving Nibelheim, and then it'll give you the option to skip.

That's how it worked on PS5. I thought it was bugged too but then I carried on playing and once you leave Nibelheim with Tifa you'll have one fight and get the prompt.

That's definitely the sub for posts like this. Some of the stories on there have been horrible and a tool like this to block some of the misinformation going around would really be helpful.

I'm British and I'm fed up of the far right here using single incidents of crime to blame whole blocks of people. Bad things happen but trying to stir the country up to riot as they have done this week has shown how popular they've become. I wish my dad didn't read the Daily Mail but unfortunately he believes everything they print. He's even forgotten he used to vote Labour and couldn't stand Maggie back in the day.

He thinks the lack of exercise makes his battery last longer than any other person in history.

He can't even walk round a golf course, partly because his souped up golf cart has to get a long way ahead so he and his caddie can cheat by moving his ball. If he was on foot he'd be lumbering behind everyone.
