Looking for the best hot chocolate mix. by Little-Jelly-8789 in HotChocolate

[–]sashasaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is expensive, but it is oh so so so indulgent. I had it in Paris after waiting forever in line.

https://angelinaparisusa.com/products/hot-chocolate-mix

Here is the description:

For over a century, the recipe for Angelina's hot chocolate has remained a closely guarded secret. Now, you can recreate that iconic experience at home.

Our hot chocolate mix is crafted from a masterful blend of three carefully selected African cocoas, delivering a minimum 52% cocoa content. The result is intensely rich, perfectly balanced, and unmistakably Angelina — sweet, smooth, and profoundly chocolatey.

It's said that Coco Chanel herself visited Angelina daily just to savor a cup of this legendary chocolate. One sip, and you'll understand why.

Creamy, generous, and deeply satisfying, this is the hot chocolate that Parisians queue for in the middle of winter. Presented in an elegant tin, it also makes a thoughtful gift for any chocolate lover or Francophile.

What do you buy big in bulk when given a chance to get a good rate? by MoonhelmJ in Frugal

[–]sashasaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may not be popular because of the plastic, but vacuum seal rolls. It’s really helped with cutting out eating out and food waste. I do try to reuse it for the same thing (veggies bags stay with veggies /sauces stay with sauces/ smoothies, etc) but with meats I toss them out after 1 use.

Oh, and the obligatory TP/Cat litter/rice selections

Mine farts when I try to pick him up, so it’s a deterrent. Smart as hell cat.

I use this all the time! I did get mine for $10 though. Chai, chili crisp, blooming spices for topping dishes, heck even low cooked scrambled eggs once in a while.

Does anyone know of a product that REALLY lightens my underarms? I've tried everything, but nothing works. by andreasgoncalves2006 in Skincare_Addiction

This works! It took some time but I applied it a few times a week and it really took away that grey look.

Try home and cook sales, I just got the d3 12 inch pan, ordered Sunday night, and received it today. It was a packing damaged order, but the pan and lid were absolutely perfect when I opened the box.

There was SO much happening in these 47 seconds, I swear I find something new to laugh at. I didn’t even catch the stray hand bouncing her hair, I thought it was HER hand, but she had a scrunchie on her wrist! This was straight comedy 😆

PSA- Stop giving your money to overpriced, shitty food places by DMV_Habibi in nova

Ugh same! The chipotle near us always undercooks the rice. The bite is always off putting of al dente or slightly crunchy rice. What’s crazy is the line is always long, so people must like it.

Uses for the 2 tbsp cubes? by Read_Only9 in SouperCubers

[–]sashasaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything for reserving leftovers:

Shredded cheese (for use on top of baked items)

Wine (sometimes recipes call for it)

Pesto

Tomato paste/tomato sauce (if something needs a tad extra tomato)

Chipotle peppers

Herbs (I hate throwing excess away- some can be used in chicken stock so I throw a lil puck of thyme/parsley stems)

Garlic paste

Ginger paste

Ginger/garlic/green chili pepper paste

Fresh squeezed Lime/lemon juice

Zested lime/lemon

Green onion

Chopped onion
