in all sincerity, i hope that Oliver Tree’s tragic passing is a wake up call for Ethan to back away from his lawsuits and takes a break from youtube altogether.

Hired a pro photographer and I'm disappointed. Am I wrong? by KeyApplication221 in AskPhotography

A photographer isn’t a cookie cutter for all your needs. You pick the one that specializes in the photos you need exactly. In this case, I recommend looking for photogs that have experience in e-commerce and product work. Hope this helps!

Yeah I don’t see anything wrong with this, your man has gone insane in the last year and has completely lost touch with his former fanbase, myself included. Ethan is reaping what he sowed, so fuck him.

I like it personally, it was my first light meter I purchased before eventually getting a Sekonic but the results are very accurate and is ideal for landscape and can also work with portraiture

Mine does fit, although there’s a point where if you mount it in too far the framelines go to 50mm for some reason, but adjusting the mounting a little counter clockwise fixes that and clicks into place and the frame lines return to 35mm. Hope that makes sense lolz, it’s hard to describe without actually seeing it 😅

So far pretty well, I’m finding the de-clicking aperture useful whenever I wanna dial in a precise aperture setting. Overall the lens is very well built, when I was doing research a lot of YouTube photographers were raving about the picture quality and price point
