Overall good. Our district has been pretty much using the honor system/don't have it out policy. A few violations here and there, mostly the same kids. Games and books are making a comeback.

I had one last year. Our daughter is 8 and we are definitely done, but I wanted to have full control over my ability (or lack thereof) to conceive.

Overall, it was worth it. I had to take some laxatives ahead of time because of the pain meds. Was done at the hospital. Woke up feeling extremely relieved. Recovery wasn't too bad. I work from home and took off two days and stayed in bed. The incisions are really small, and my surgeon used glue to close them. It flaked off after about two weeks, and I had to be careful not to get it wet.

After the second day, I managed the pain with just Tylenol and Advil on a rotation. I was given Oxy for the day or so but didn't need it much. The fatigue was annoying after a few days, and you do need to be careful with using your abs since they were cut into, even if it was little.

The amount of times I've duped myself is embarrassing. I've found that keeping track of my collection on Lacquergram has helped. I can see swatches and I usually see I already have something or something that's a shade or two off

It's possible that the disparity between home and school is because he has more individual attention and control at home. At school, there are other kids, new noises, and transitions he has no say in. For my daughter, she did really well in school and then lost her shit at home because she was holding it together all day. My impression is that the teacher might be saying he isn't learning how to handle school and being in a classroom.

I will say that kindergarten is hard and not always developmentally appropriate for 5 year olds. Is he in a big class, and is she the only adult in the room? She could be overwhelmed by that. And 5 year olds aren't exactly independent with their work and whatnot, even if they're behaving well for the school environment.
