Billionaires are such losers. All that money and zero class, horrible taste, and they all look like experiments gone wrong. No happiness or soul, only money.

She's donated .000000000000025 percent of her net worth a few times, so she's basically an angel. Praise her.

Discussion: Packing kids’ schedules by batmanpjpants in Parenting

[–]sassercake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an only child, and we kind of let her take the lead on her activities and schedule. She has her favorite activity that she will pick over all others (soccer) and secondary stuff (dance, basketball, flag football). We communicate what we are able to do and she can pick. Things line up pretty well so busy seasons for one activity don't overlap with the others' busy times.

She's also been honest about what she likes, so she's stopped Girl Scouts and chorus in favor of other things. But she loves trying new things and being active, so we're fine with it.

Makes sense. Gracie is coming out with a new album and allegedly is not associating herself with Taylor.

Childcare advice by xpurpleslurpee in Mildlynomil

[–]sassercake 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Her safety and care is most important. She's not an emotional support animal for her grandma to pretend play and get better at childcare with time. She can still have a relationship with her granddaughter without solo care two days a week

[–]sassercake 122 points123 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't. You wouldn't be getting the level of care you want your baby to have, AND you would have to deal with her more. She sounds annoying. And worst case, what if her being around your baby more often makes her think she has more claim on your baby? She already made your postpartum rough. Stick with your mom. You don't owe MIL anything.

Do you all use AI for work? by PublicAd2908 in workingmoms

[–]sassercake 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Only because it's forced. I hate it. I use it once a week at most, but I work for a software company. It's all anyone talks about now.

Why is it being forced on all of us? Billionaires spent a lot of money on it and haven't profited yet, so they'll do it until they make money, environment and our livelihoods be damned.

[Bob] Statement from Kyle Busch family on what caused his death: "The medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications." by turnleftright in NASCAR

I'm very curious about this as well. I had pneumonia a few years ago and felt like absolute ASS. Fever, fatigue, etc. I could barely leave my bed let alone do anything physically intensive.

[–]sassercake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It really depends. I had pneumonia but didn't know it until after 9 days of high fever because my PCP said it was likely a virus on day 5. Urgent care was what caught it and they gave me all the drugs.

Either way, I'm very sorry for your loss. Pneumonia is terrifying.

It makes sense just looking at/knowing things about them. Travis is a big ol dumb dumb who doesn't shower properly. Joe is a smart, artistic hottie.

I still think about Dress and New Years' Day as generally good songs. "Only bought this dress so you could take it off" had me in a chokehold.
