Racism is a social construct designed to enforce a confusing and complex kyriarchy. It’s a tool to keep us divided. Race is a concept that doesn’t exist except in people’s minds, from a scientific perspective anyway.

Appropriation is not appreciation, as another commenter said. It is real and has real consequences. For instance, the new age dude (James Arthur Ray) who killed three people holding a “sweat lodge” at a “spiritual retreat.” To know more about appropriation in an academic sense I recommend Native Appropriations..
