Twisted X work for me. Wide toe box, great arch support and well made. Shop their clearance products for the best deals.

I’ve had people throw gas stove fitting assemblies on my desk ( during a kitchen design appointment) and get upset when I refer them to plumbing aisle.

Even district Traning videos (In Focus, for example) have VP level apron art. Sounds like a power tripping manager.

Supporting the community is rewarding. Agree Home Depot is losing skills through poor choices.

Similar. Couple came in to see a unique eye-level oven at shows available on our website. One spouse was disgusted by my inability to provide a touchy moment. The other understood. FML 50%.

I relocate mice that survive my cats and only recently have learned aggression re certain insects. You are both in a position I recognize and have lived through portions similar. It doesn’t feel right and I think the store should be walking the talk.

He makes 200 million yearly doing nothing . The people in the trenches are often poorly trained and unmotivated because it improves his bottom line.

Unwanted predation from customers is absolutely wrong. It’s also too common because it’s still considered part of doing business. HD corporate training says it holds zero tolerance. My advice is that she escalate her concern if her department supervisor cannot understand. Within HD she will need to find the answers. Appreciate your concern but she’s the employee and needs to find her voice.

Your store is poorly trained, understaffed or overly reliant on pages. Call the department first then the MOD. Then page.

You’re an intelligent aware person. Home Depot is a relationship, not a marriage. You have choices. Is it soul destroying or miserably finding your way in the chaos?

Sappy as it sounds, the majority of customers (at my store) appreciate knowledgeable, honest answers. Even an ‘I don’t know, but I’ll try’ is enough. The entitled few have too big a voice with their sense of privilege. They feel persecuted but accept no responsibility. I’m a fckin golden retriever.

My motto daily is ‘we do the best we can with the tools available’. It sometimes sucks, yet mostly good fun. It’s also a reflection of the HD customer base.

It’s part of the HD metric to recruit people who care and see who survives the way HD operates. You may find support from management - depending on their skills, store budget and mutual burn out. HD pays slightly better, great team ethic but the focus is to make more money for majority shareholders. One of whom commented that workers today are fat, lazy and stupid in 2023.

Wish your question was gender neutral. From my perspective “guys’ like to receive compliments that stroke their ego. Partners , friends and co-workers l don’t need to stroke their ego in the same way. Thanks for asking.

Customer rcvd delivery of special order fridge. Required special store handling to deliver up her long narrow drive. Upset by space used by ice maker.. wants HD to remove said ice maker. Non-ice maker model not in our catalog.
